My experience has been unforgettable. I have felt good from the beginning with the volunteers and the coordinators; both have taught me a lot about daily tasks! Everything was communicated in the morning before starting, allowing clear communication. There are no negative aspects I found at the sanctuary. People were very kind and the place was amazing. The food was also delicious!! Congratulations to the team, they gave me a life-changing experience!

Just words of thanks for all the staff of the refuge (including the excellent team of volunteers who allowed me to be part of it) for giving me the possibility to live one of the most pleasant experiences to date. Learning and serving so many rescued animals (horses, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, donkeys, dogs and more) was extraordinary. The refuge is located in a true earthly paradise, surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna. Both the lodging and the vegan menu exceeded my expectations. Thank you very much to everyone for this unforgettable experience!

All in all, the shelter and its entire team (Clari, Fran, Joha), including the other volunteers (Juan, Aye, Mila, Maxi, Noah), made me feel at home. Working with the horses was a unique experience, all in all a part of my heart stays at the shelter. I highly recommend it and I hope to return soon.

My experience at the shelter was beautiful; I fell in love with the animals and the place. I felt an incredible peace thanks to the river and the natural surroundings, which let you connect with what matters. The animals are a joy and it is very rewarding to know that, with one's work, you are helping a cause so just. I loved that the place is vegan and you can really see the respect with which each inhabitant is treated. Clara, the coordinator, is super kind and always willing to help you with whatever you need. I highly recommend this volunteering for anyone seeking harmony and purpose.

I can't put into words how much I connected with nature and with the animals during my experience at the Sanctuary the shelter. The place is simply incredible — in every detail, in the natural beauty, in the peace and in the energy it conveys. Being surrounded by nature and by the horses was a unique opportunity for learning and self-discovery. I carry with me every lesson the horses gave me and the true friendships I built during that time. It was a transformative experience, which I recommend to all who seek to reconnect with the essential and to live something genuinely special. 🐴🌿💚

Things I highlight about the sanctuary: the volunteers I met there, a 10/10, made the experience very lovely; and working with animals and being in direct contact with them also teaches you a lot of things that, from my point of view, should be improved: the communication between coordinators and between coordinators and volunteers; for me, everything I learned was taught to me by other volunteers and I suppose that information is being lost; meals about 80% of the time I was at the sanctuary were not satisfactory (breakfast cookies with jam, lots of pasta, rice, soy and lentils, almost no fruit and vegetables).

The shelter was a place of connection with nature and many horses of different sizes and personalities; one could observe how the animals related to each other, the group's reactions and the love 🧡 that each one desired. Regarding the tasks I carried out, I could learn from the previous volunteers and the materials provided by the volunteering program; they respected the hours and the free time from work, the lodging place was exceptional since it is a volunteer house. Thanks to everyone on the shelter team for the experience and what I lived there.

Conecté con la naturaleza y los animales como nunca lo habia hecho, es un lugar rodeado de paisajes hermosos. ⛰️🐖🐎 En los momentos de descanso se puede ir al río. Me la pasé comiendo cosas riquísimas! el equipo del santu parecen MasterChef. 🧑🍳 Le recomiendo esta experiencia a quienes amen a los animales tanto como yo, hay que estar predispuesto a aprender y colaborar. Buen lugar para desconectar del caos de la ciudad y hacer vida de campo🏕️
