Our experience on Miguel and Marta's farm was amazing, the tasks were appropriate for us and Miguel was there in the morning to direct and teach us what to do. He was very patient and good at teaching and never set us to do tasks without an explanation. We enjoyed all of the jobs we did over the two weeks. The farm was beautiful with lots of friendly chickens, it's close to olhao which means you can get the boat to any of the islands easily. The van was cozy and comfortable for 2 and the kitchen was fully equipped. It was great having hot water in the shower too. I would recommend.

I had a great experience with Marta and Miguel. They were very kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. Living in the van and using the outdoor kitchen was a unique and fun experience. The work was enjoyable, the tasks were varied and never boring, and I learned a lot during my stay. I also learned a lot about countryside living, and cuddling with the chickens was one of my favorite parts of the experience. We had a really Great time Staying with Miguel and his Family. The caravan was clean and warm and the Next smaller grocerie Store was only a few minutes away with the bike. Miguel was very welcoming and him and his wife were always taking care that we had everything we needed and also offered to Drive us to the Supermarket when we needed to. He also respected the working hours and the tasks were very manageable, but sometimes he could not be there due to work so we had to find our own solutions, but we could always call him. The chickens were also really funny

We had a wonderful week with Miguel and his wife! 😊 The tasks were easy and enjoyable: DIY and harvesting carobs, with schedules well respected (16 hours per week). We received a very warm welcome and a nice integration into life in the house. The caravan was comfortable and the place peaceful, in the heart of the countryside near Olhão. Special mention to the hens, very curious and some even cuddly! 🐔❤️

We had an excellent experience with Miguel and Martha. We participated in the carob harvest and also helped with some construction work and improvements to the volunteers' caravan. We felt very well welcomed and greatly enjoyed the tranquil, comfortable surroundings and very good energy.
