Loved this experience, the hosts were absolutely amazing and were amazing and patient at the beginning with my lack of certain Spanish vocabulary but they created a great space and the other volunteers were incredibly sociable as well. I'm happy I went to this host!

I had an amazing stay at the guest house and I am very thankful for how I was greeted and treated here. The cleaning schedule and tasks were clear, but be aware some days are very busy and you need to keep up with the tasks and the busy rythm. Vladimir & Alicia's family were nice to me and helped me with whatever I needed. It's a place I recommend to volunteer if you want to spend some time to get to know Cusco.

The guest house was an unfortunate experience. The manager/owner is a hardworking man but is difficult to work for. He's deceptive, doesn{t serve the clients. Examples: A customer complained that she was cold and wanted another blanket. His response: 'It's not cold' A couple came in for a room they'd reserved, but did not choose to stay. Reason: 'This is not what was advertised.' His response: 'They have to pay.' As a volunteer, i worked 5 +hrs/day. For what? The bed costs $7/nt Food: usually bad, 2 days it was all right. Always cold, waking up, cold. Many keys, all unmarked. frustrating

The guest house was my first volunteering experience, and overall it wa the guest house was my first volunteering experience, and overall it was a very positive and meaningful one. Vladimir and his family are genuinely kind, friendly and welcoming people. A special thank you to Isabel, who prepared delicious lunches for us, and to Alicia, Vladimir's wife, who is such a warm and wonderful person. Since this is a family-run organization, there are no regular employees. Şöyle çok kısa ve doğal olur: “Since there are no employees, the cleaning can be quite tiring.”

Very nice family hostel. For the most part, it was quiet and friendly. The work was not overwhelming. The food provided was local, filling, and delicious. This family welcomed me with open arms and I believe we developed a friendship that will last a lifetime. I am very greatful for this experience :)

The hostel is situated well in the city of Cusco and you can go walking from there to everywhere. The working hours were good and respected normally, I think there could have been a better organisation for the turns and schedule sometimes, because it was supposed to be at a certain time everyday but actually it was different everyday and that was unpredictable for us everyday. Also I think they did not have clear when our days off were and that made harder the organisation for tours and staff. But in general it was a nice experience, the food was amazing and we finished everyday by 2pm

In overall my experience was good, the family was nice and work wasn't much. The only problem was that sometimes the hot water for the shower's didn't work for a few days or the gas for the kitchen and Vladimir only repaired it as new guests arrived. Furthermore there's a lack of lockers for all beds in the dorm and each key works for each locker. On the one hand i felt very comfortable and it was pretty chilled as there weren't many guests or volunteers , on the other hand i felt a bit lonely and would have loved some company, so during low season it's not the place to connect with others.

My time at the guest house was lovely, they are a small family run business and I had a great time working for them, my duties included cleaning the bathrooms and making the hostel beds and making sure all the communal areas were clean and tidy, work usually finished around 1:30 pm when we would sit down and have a lovely home-cooked meal together.
