I had a lovely month working at the host of the host. The staff was super welcoming from day 1. It felt like being part of a big family. Danny walked me through everything that had to be done during the shifts. He also taught me to make great cocktails. The island is very beautiful and peaceful. I had the chance to go the host a lot of times with the host and really got to improve my the host skills. the host puts a lot of attention to marine life and conservation which shows great character. Over all I think this was my best volunteering opportunity and would recommend it to anyone coming to Malaysia.

My time at the host was wonderful!! Danny, all the divemasters/instructors/office staff, and P’gell (the host owner) were very welcoming. I had tons of fun and got to dive a good amount. the host is pretty chill and the hours I was supposed to work were respected. There were 3 previous the host volunteers doing either their dive master or instructor course well I was there, which I think speaks for itself on how fun, engaging, and chill the host is. Highly recommend this experience :)

I had a great experience at the host! Everyone is nice and you get the opportunity to meet divers from around the world. If you're already a diver this is the perfect spot as you get to dive during the day then be at the host at night where everyone hangs out. Hours are manageable, discounts on drinks, dorms are nice and a provided meal stipend covers food costs. I also did my nitrox and rescue course for a significant discount here. Even if you're not a diver its ok as you can also go hiking, kayaking, snorkeling and jungle tours.

My experience at B&J was more than great! I was treated excellently from the moment I arrived. The dive center is an amazing place to meet people from all around the world. The staff was very friendly, I improved my English, and after 10 days I was able to complete my Open Water course at an excellent price. I 100% recommend them if you love the sea, nature, and especially diving.

I volunteered at the host for 5 weeks and had an amazing time! I completed my EFR and Rescue during that time at a heavily discounted price and was able to do some fun dives throughout that time too. Drey is a great roommate and manager and will look after you and help with whatever you need. I enjoyed it so much here I stayed to do my DMT! Highly recommend if you're into the host and want to develop your skills

I had an amazing experience being a bartender at the host !! Everyone made me feel very welcome from the start and I got some free dives, accommodation, and food stipend in exchange for the host work so it felt like a fair exchange. the host was fun to work at and often didn't feel like work at all as I could socialise with staff and customers while serving drinks. The island is also beautiful and I enjoyed hiking and snorkelling on my days off :)

Volunteering at the host's the host was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed every second of it. You are quickly fully welcomed into the community. The tasks that have to be done at the host are very doable. You have the entire day to explore the island and at night you'll have plenty of fun meeting all the guests and staff at the host and Tioman in general. I also had the chance to take my rescue course and da couple of fun dives during my stay, making the entire experience even better! Thank you P'gell and Andrey :)
