It was my first Worldpackers experience and was wonderful, from the lovely people I met (starting with Rafaela, who was incredibly kind and helpful) to all the guests who quickly became friends and family. The hostel's location is perfect, very close to the beach and the center. So there's never a dull moment. Housekeeping work certainly isn't for lazy people, but it's perfect for anyone eager to get things done and step out of their comfort zone. It's an experience I'll look back on with gratitude. As my first trip overseas, I was nervous about being so far from home, but the hostel quickly became a home away from home. Rafaela is an amazing host who made everyone feel welcome, and it was easy to make close friends. The housekeeping work was fair and manageable, and the location just steps from the beach couldn't be better. I highly recommend the hostel, especially for first-time solo travelers.

I had a really wonderful two weeks here in Cascais. The hosts, Bruno and Rosangela, are amazing, they are incredibly kind and truly help you with everything you need.
Every day we shared meals together and sometimes cooked as a group, while also teaching each other our languages, which made the experience even more special.
If you’re looking for a peaceful place without chaos, where you can feel a warm and cozy home atmosphere, I can definitely recommend this place. This was my first time doing an exchange like this, and it turned out to be a very positive experience.

Awesome experience! I met people from various places, practiced my English a lot, and left with many stories and lessons, especially since it was my first volunteer experience. The hostesses were very welcoming and kind to me! I felt very welcomed by them 💕💕
The reception is calm, while the cleaning can be more demanding and requires effort, but with time you find the rhythm. The sleeping space is compact and can have movement, so it's worth considering if you're looking for more comfort. For me, it was fine and it didn't take away at all from how much I enjoyed the experience. I am very grateful for everything!!
