We are an eco-hostel located in Las Galeras, Samana (the village surrounded by the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic). On the same property, there is a shelter for abandoned cats (more than 50 cats live there), where you can also be a volunteer. Our hostel is a perfect place for nature lovers and/or for people who would like to connect with other travelers and explorers.
You'll have amazing beaches within walking distance :) Las Galeras has many beautiful beaches, connected by walking paths. If you are an experienced traveler we encourage you to explore Cabo Cabron National Park.
We can't pick you up from the airport but will explain how to get a comfortable bus from Santo Domingo (the capital) to Las Galeras. The road takes 3 hours.
