The staff and managers are really nice and they always made us volunteers feel valuable and part of the team🫶🏼They always respected the working hours and always took into account our preferences for the days off. The work itself is not that hard, and I never felt under pressure or supervised in a way that made me uncomfortable. We also had a break for having breakfast together, which gave us some good time and made the day more fun. My experience was wonderful. I met so many amazing people, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I always felt safe, supported, and listened to. The work can sometimes be tiring, especially on busy check-out days, but we worked around half a day, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the city and make memories. The basement-the hostel was never a problem for me, and the €20 weekly food allowance was helpful, especially when sharing groceries with other volunteers. The best part was definitely the people. I was lucky to be part of such a wonderful group, and the friendships and memories !

I really loved my stay at the hostel! The staff was so nice and welcoming, and the hostel in general is a lovely, authentic place with a chill atmosphere. I also got along really well with the other volunteers, and we ended up doing something together almost every evening. The work could sometimes be tiring and stressful, but the agreed working hours were always respected. Unfortunately, there was no possibility to borrow the bicycles for free, which was a little disappointing:/. Nevertheless, all in all, it was a unique and wonderful experience, and I would definitely do it again!

I spent 5 weeks here, in a joyful, inclusive place where volunteers meet the amazing staff and guests! Social life was spontaneously incredible, with organized activities. Managers respect shifts and highly value cleanliness, ensuring the hostel is well-maintained. The job, as in every other place, is tiring. If you manage your time well, you'll have time to rest and visit the country. Breakfast is varied, and toast-based lunch is enriched with vegetables. Free drinks and pocket money are provided. Unfortunately, the bikes weren't freely available 😔.

I had a great time there! The other volunteers and the staff were so nice. The people I met was the best part of my experience. The work can be demanding, specially on busy days. the hostel is on the basement but is big. The hostel is very well located and Rotterdam is such a cool city.

I really had a good time in the hostel. I felt welcomed from the beginning and the staff was so nice. The tasks are not difficult but at the same time are exhausting and maybe we are expected more than what we should. Despite from that I met wonderful people and I really made a good friendship with the other volunteers. I would recommend this volunteering to anyone who is considering doing it.
