We had a memorable and happy experience at the farm. Generally speaking, the work focuses on property maintenance, such as mowing the lawn, planting, and weeding. We were able to participate in the olive harvest for a few days in October. We also alternated these activities with a few hours at the farm Café and the guesthouse, performing tasks like cleaning and tidying up the rooms. Oki-san and Meg-san are open and welcoming people who do their best to meet our needs. We cherish great memories of this experience and the friends we made among the volunteers.

I've learned many things about local culture, tried new things, tasted new food, seen many new places and most importantly met really amazing people❤️I hope to meet with Oki-san and Megu-san and the other volunteers again. I had a great time at Oki Olive and I hope to return. I have only good things to say about the hosts, the space (orchard, cafe, guest house, staff house), the meals, the work, and the people. The work was structured and both Oki-san and Megu-san made sure we also enjoyed our free time by including us in side trips and making sure we knew about surrounding attractions. I recommend getting your international driver's license; there are vehicles available for use during down time, and it helps during work hours as well. I miss it all!

Had the most amazing time at Oki-Farm ! Oki-san and Megu-san were the best host I could ever ask for. They made me feel welcomed and at home. The work was reasonable and fair. Had plenty of time after work duties to explore Takamatsu with other volunteers. Oki-San would also take us out on excursions to local spots/events to experience everything to the fullest. I agree with most of the reviews Oki-san cooking is top notch and he creates all kinds of delicious dishes. Great for volunteer first timers and reccomend highly. Thank you again for being exceptional hosts, hope to come around again !

Oki-san and Megu-san are wonderful hosts to live and work under, and they really go beyond the responsibilities of Worldpackers hosts to take care of all the volunteers and immerse everyone in the local culture. This was my first Worldpackers experience and I am glad to say it was way better than my initial expectations. I learnt so much about farming, cafe work and guesthouse cleaning and I'm sure these skills will continue to be useful and translate into my daily life. Thank you Oki-san and Megu-san ❤️

I had a fantastic time volunteering at Oki Olive! None of the tasks were too difficult, and you were taught how to do everything. The environment created is very welcoming and warm. All of the employees on the farm, and the cafe are very patient and helpful when you are learning how to do tasks or if you have any questions. Definitely will be returning some day. Would recommend!!

I really enjoyed my time at Oki Olive Farm.
Oki-San and Megumi-San were the perfect hosts. I had the opportunity to work on the farm doing various chores, assisting in the cafe and cleaning the guest house. We were then rewarded with great food and the company of the other volunteers each day.
Takamatsu is a great jumping off point for traveling the surrounding area on your days off. This, for me, was everything I needed.
I hope to return to Oki Olive farm during the Olive picking season to experience another aspect of this spectacular farm.

I absolutely loved my stay at Oki Olive. Oki-San and Megu-San welcomed us into their home with huge warmth and respect and it was a truly special experience. All the staff were so kind and genuine, especially Mi-Chan, Tomo-Chan and Satomi-San in the cafe and Kirin-San and Kimura-San on the farm. They were all very kind, patient, fair and helped us with our Japanese learning. I would absolutely return to Oki Olive, an amazing experience and amazing people to be around!

I enjoyed my time at the farm immensely! Okisan and Megusan are such kind, incredible hosts! The food was amazing! As for work, I did a lot of cutting grass, sometimes helped out in the cafe, and cleaned the guesthouse most afternoons!

I finished my trip in Japan at Oki olive and couldn't have hoped for a better place !
Oki-san and Megu-san are truly kind people that made us feel like part of their family and let us share wonderful moments with them. Same goes for the cafe and farm workers and other volunteers, with who we had unforgettable times.
The work was fun and varied and you will be rewarded with Oki-san's delicious chef-level meals every day ! Plus you get to stay at a stunning traditional Japanese house with access to cars and bikes.
I will never forget my time here at Oki olive, thank you again for everything 💚
