I had an absolutely amazing time at Carleigh and Colin's. They picked me up very last minute when my situation changed, and I felt at home immediately. They're both incredibly patient, and love being asked a million questions about what they do. The work is physical (as expected) but can be very varied if you want it to be. If you are there for any horse clinics, the whole group becomes the family, and everyone is so friendly. It's an absolutely amazing opportunity to meet other travellers too, given the numbers they tend to have. I couldn't recommend it more. Thank you (and the kids)!

This place was exactly what I was expecting! Carleigh and Colin are two lovely humans, both living doing what they love and they spread joy in the farm thanks to that. I recommand this place to learn new skills, and meet lot of people from everywhere (always 2 to 4 or more other volunteers with you). The accommodation is what I needed and the food very good.

I had an amazing first experience volunteering, I felt very welcomed from the start, the other volunteers were so nice and helped me a lot at the beginning understanding how to do things right. It's a physical job but very rewarding, there's many projects you can help with, you also get to be with horses and learn SO much. Carleigh is really generous with her knowledge, I recommend to make the most of it. Collin food is really good, I even got the chance to try bear which was great. They really try to make your time there special and I feel really grateful for that. I'll miss you all! ❤️

I stayed with Carleigh, Colin and the kids for 2 months during Feb/March, if you decide to come during that time then wrap up! It was so much fun, and the farm is just gorgeous to work on during the day with pretty sunrises and a frozen lake to go ice skating on or walking on. The more that you put into the farm and the horses at the arena the more you can learn and takeaway. Bear in mind it is physical work! The food is awesome, Kareoke on Wednesdays always fun lol, and it was so hard to leave. I'll really miss the fam and Ive made so many mates from all over, thank u Carleigh and Colin!

It was a really nice experience. the farm is beautiful and surrounded by nature, with amazing scenery and a lovely lake. It's a great place if you want to disconnect from the city and enjoy some quiet time. I stayed during winter, so it was quite cold, but I was told summer is completely different. The food is delicious and there's a lot of baking involved (totally worth it!). The hosts are very kind, the kids are amazing, and although there is some physical work, it's well organized. Overall, a lovely place and a great experience.

Carleigh, Colin and the family are very welcoming and really make you feel like part of the family. Food is excellent (must be a meat eater)! The work chores vary from horse feeding and field cleaning, to firewood chopping, weed picking, and fence building. You are likely to work over the hours stated. The family try to take you on nice hikes and trips, which are great fun. The kids are homeschooled, so are around all the time. Overall I had a great time and felt that the more I put in the more I got out. Thanks everyone so much!

Thank you so much for everything! This was my first Worldpackers Experience and I couldn't imagine a better place to go. I learned so many things and met amazing people from all over the world. The time I spend at the farm will always have a special place in my heart. The Hostfamily is super welcoming and always makes sure that you are alright. The work was not always easy, but indeed rewarding. If you like being outside, learning new skills and adventure this is the right place for you. And yes, the food is amazing :)
