Me and my friend spent a week with Nourdin in Tagounite and the host. Nourdin and his family were very welcoming and made us feel at home. I definitely recommend coming with a friend because there tends to be a fair amount of downtime and Nourdin sometimes has to travel into town to pick up food and supplies for the camp. The work was nothing too difficult and the hours weren't anything crazy! Nourdin really loves this place and wants you to have a great experience here!

Considering this was my first WorldPackers experience, I cannot believe I got so lucky. Nordin and his family took me in like a sister, and I got to spend a lot more time with the family and local community than doing work. I would've liked to do more, but because I was the only volunteer, they didn't want to make me do too much. It can definitely be a bit lonely being only one person, but Nordin realized this and made sure to do things with me everyday. I cannot emphasize enough how patient, caring, and genuine Nordin and his family are. Very special people, and you're helping a great cause.

I truly honor this experience and will forever be grateful for it!
Nourdin and his family were all really lovely and made me feel very welcome.
I stayed during Ramdan and was grateful that I got to experience it with the locals. Sometimes in the afternoon Nourdin took me on a tour on his bike to explore the environment. The nature is really breathtaking and it's a fun experience on his bike.
But because I was there during Ramdan I cannot comment on the usual tasks because I only helped a little bit with the dishes.

Nourdin is a good, caring guy and has nice friends, who you stay a lot with. The friends don't speak English so it's good to go with your mates or other volunteers, because other way you won't have really anyone to talk to and socialize. The work is light and suited for your abilities. You stay in a remote village 10km from Tagounite, which looks like a movie set or a video game map. Be prepared for really basic living conditions, which are a big part of the experience and learning about the local life.

This experience was really one of the best I've ever had in my life. I had the chance to spend a really amazing time around nature, good people and nice places. The tasks are easy and accessible to everyone, we prepared really good food and I've learned a lot of delicious recipes. I spent the time playing music and learning a bit of Arabic. I had the chance to visit the mountains and the host. Nordin is really caring about his volunteers, the place is clean the bed comfortable and he's always trying to make you live the best experience and the real life in the host. Thanks for everything

This was one of the most unique experiences I've ever had, and it's left me at a loss for words. The landscape is breathtaking, with lots to admire. I feel as if I got a true glimpse into Tagounite life, particularly during Ramadan. Nourdin is very welcoming and loving, as is his entire family. Because of the time I arrived, there wasn't much for me to do, so I can't comment on the tasks, but I had a great time nonetheless. One thing to keep in mind is that the facilities can be a bit spartan, but it's nothing one can't easily get over. All in all, a truly amazing experience that I recommend.
