I really loved my first volunteering experience! I got very attached to Enzo, and his whole family was incredibly kind and welcoming. The family always made sure we had delicious food, and their home is absolutely beautiful. I'm so grateful to the home and her family for welcoming me and giving me such a wonderful experience. My responsibilities were not too difficult, and I had plenty of free time after my working hours to explore the island. I often went to Kalyves and Chania, and had the chance to discover so many beautiful places around Crete.

I loved having you at home too. You are an open person, someone who shares with others, who fits into the family, and you were incredibly wonderful with Enzo. Thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰

I had a lovely time with Enzo and his family!
The work was a lot of fun as we got to decide what part of the island we wanted to explore with Enzo - though I definitely underestimated the temperatures on Crete in July which also made it exhausting at times. We walked a lot but also got used to it very quickly.
I also got on really well with all of the family and knew that, for any issue that came up during my stay, the family would find a solution with me.
I would recommend the experience to anyone who is willing to be a part of the family and actively explore Crete !! :)

My experience was a bit different from what I expected. Taking care of the boy was an interesting and valuable experience, and I appreciated the opportunity to spend time with him. However, I personally found living with the family challenging at times due to their specific expectations regarding cleanliness and daily routines. I think this experience depends a lot on personal preferences, and what didn't work for me might work well for someone else. Overall, it was a learning experience, although I didn't always feel completely comfortable.

I learned so much from Enzo, and thanks to him I saw the world from a different perspective. Spending time with him taught me patience, understanding and how to slow down. He showed me the importance of staying calm, being present, and not taking everything so seriously. I truly enjoyed my time with him, and the experience meant a lot to me.

This experience was truly one of a kind and I am more than happy that I did it. The family accepted me immediately and I felt like I am part of them. Work with Enzo was sometimes challenging, but that is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to learn more about autism and I really did! I love the home's approach to work with autism and I am really amazed how the whole family is involved with Enzo. Remember: you will never be alone, everyone is glad to help. The whole experience gave me a lot and I am leaving with a full heart and a warm feeling. I can't wait to come back soon!

Thank you to the home, Enzo and the family for making my first Worldpackers experience such wonderful and unique adventure! My shifts were fair and I was not only Enzo's Carer but I became his friend. Spending time with him taught me so much about Autism and even more about the world around us. He is such a beautiful soul who I already miss! The family always knew how to make me laugh and treated me like one of their own. I recommend this experience to anyone who is open to learning about disabilities and wanting to form genuine human connections that will last a long time!

I had such a incredible experience in Crete, the island is gorgeous. Enzo is the sweetest person ever, he was one of my favourite parts of the experience, I learnt a lot and we had fun together. Their house is beautiful and comfortable, the family is really cool and made me feel welcomed. I also picked up with some basic French with them! The location is in a small village close to Kalyves, surrounded by the nature, so you can disconnect and reconect. If you are an active person the work time and moving around the island will be easy, otherwise some time to adapt may be needed.

It was a very nice experience to work with Enzo and his family, Enzo is so sweet and fun, all of them are very friendly and kind, at the beginning I was a little nervous because I didn't knew a lot about autism or how to deal with it, but this experience made me learn a lot. Cècile, Charlotte and all the family are very open to explain if you have question, I think it is a good experience if you like sports and want to learn more about autism, this experience opens your mind and adds up a lot to your life
