This was a great experience! The hostel was really welcoming and quickly felt like a second home. The host was always kind and helpful, and I met so many amazing people from all over the world. The work was simple and easy to manage, and I really enjoyed being part of the hostel and its daily life. It's a great place to meet international people and enjoy Riga, also thanks to its perfect location right in the city centre. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my first volunteering experience :)

The proposed working hours met effectively and offers great flexibility and free time to explore the city. As soon as I arrived, Ikary made me feel at home. Indeed, the hostel was my home for more than one month! It was nice to share food and chats all together, and I met a lot of international travellers. The whole experience was super fun and also I learned a lot about being a receptionist, which is very interesting.

The location is good it can be loud but the city is nice and the people are nice. Your right next to old town lots of stuff to do in your free time. The work was easy but the communication on what you were supposed to be doing was not the best.

Being in Riga with all the staff members at the hostel was amazing. I had a great time with everyone. Ikari is a great host — the tasks were always clear, and he never asked for more than what was agreed. I really enjoyed spending time with everyone; they were all great people. I'm taking with me many friends and lots of memories. I'm definitely going back again, even if it's just to say hi.

Staying at the hostel for the last month has been amazing! The work is easy and manageable. You always get your two days off in a row so you can explore maybe other Baltic countries. The owner, Ikary, created such a welcoming environment as soon as you walk through the doors. the hostel is very cozy and It has good social vibes but not party vibes. You'll have a family here and create wonderful memories the whole time. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for that type of experience :)
