Program Details
This volunteer program at Thai Hai Village offers a unique community-based learning experience where English is practiced naturally through daily life, rather than in a formal classroom setting.
Volunteers work and live alongside local residents, participating in everyday activities and supporting children’s English learning in collaboration with local teachers. The main goal is to create a natural English-speaking environment where language is used as a communication tool in real-life contexts.
Through shared experiences such as cooking traditional cakes, making handicrafts, and joining community gatherings, volunteers help villagers practice conversational English in an organic and meaningful way.
Accommodation depends on availability. Volunteers may stay in a private room, share a large stilt house room with other volunteers, or stay together with local families in a traditional stilt house. This flexible arrangement allows deeper cultural immersion and stronger community connection.
This is not a formal teaching program, but a living-learning experience where English is integrated into daily activities.
