Mitra was very flexible with the work days & hours which made it really easy to explore the area. Work included mostly garden work around the property. Nights were spent by the fire together. Overall it was a good experience. The only thing was the cleanliness of the place.

The work was 2 hours a day and not too hard. We stayed a week and learned a lot about permaculture gardening. We enjoyed our time. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at the community and made the most of our time with Mitra despite him breaking his wrist a day before our arrival! We all had a positive attitude and tried to go with the flow. Mitra was generous in letting us use his car (because he needed us to drive) & surfboard. We had to set some boundaries with what counted as working hours because we were not working in the garden. We struggled with how wet the property was and advise people to prepare for suboptimal cleanliness in bed/shared spaces. We loved community dinner and meeting the others at the community. Message us for more info!

Mitra was the sweetest host, making sure everyone was feeling at home and making sure we didn't overstep our hours and were happy with the schedule. We were the ones who decided when to work as long as it suits everyone. A very enjoyable and flexible experience ! The cabin where I was accommodated was stunning and in the middle of the garden, with big wides windows in every walls. The common areas were clean and cosy. We were only 30min by walk from Tyagarah beach, which is beautiful and quiet. There also are community bikes to go town

I recommend staying at the community Pond. I felt welcome and had fun doing some weeding. The place is beautifully surrounded my nature. Mitra is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Great experience for immersing yourself in a beautiful subtropical landscape. I learned quite a bit about local flora and fauna, got to learn how to use a sickle, and was a 30 minute walk away from a beauuuutiful ocean beach. The house is really lovely and all communication was very easy. Two hours of work a day, with a good mix of independent tasks and tasks with the host. I felt very comfortable and the entire experience was very low key while still being very interesting and unique.

I had a great time working closely with Mitra on various tasks both indoors and outdoors from tackling overgrown bamboo and de-weeding, to cleaning when the rain comes down. The house is in a great location with my favourite Tee Tree lake just down the road perfect for a sunset and peaceful swim. The beach is also nearby along with plenty of fun walks. the community is a lovely place to spend time in the gym, playing pool, and meditation/yoga too. Would highly recommend to travellers if they want to get away from the hustle and bustle of a city to live in the forest for a little bit.

I stayed one week at Mitra's place and it was really great. The location of his home it's beautiful, full of animals and plants; theres a lake nearby, which is a very peacefull place. The beach is near too. All the people around are very friendly. I got to know part of the community and everyone was very nice with us woofers. In terms of the work it's 2 hours per day, but Mitra is extremely flexible with the schedule , so if you want to do more or less work one day it's okay if you do the 14 hours per week. The work itself is mainly helping in the garden or cleaning the house.
