I had a great time at the shelter! Ended up staying 3 weeks and could have stayed more! The hardest part was to say goodbye to the doggos! Everything was as agreed upon. It was a great experience and it was everything that I expected. If you deeply care for animals and dogs you will have a great time as the 'work' will not feel like work at all and more like playing and taking care of them. At the time I was the only male volunteer there however I felt very included by the other female volunteers. The living conditions are very basic like the whole of south asia but it was quite nice to live that way as it makes you feel very grateful for your comfortable life at home. Overall, I would recommend this experience to any travellers that love dogs :)

It was my first experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! It lived up to my expectations. Everyone was incredibly friendly. I had my own room, which was quite pleasant. However, we often found ourselves relaxing in the common room when we weren't on shift. One of the highlights was the opportunity to spend a lot of time with the dogs. It was heartwarming to witness their transformation as they gradually opened up to people, despite their challenging pasts. Each the shelter had its own unique personality, but they all yearned for love and companionship.

I loved my time at the shelter, it was my first volunteering experience and the best one to start with! Jaz was very accommodating and welcoming and she really does an amazing job at the shelter. The job wasn't too hard, the hours were reasonable, and the dogs are so friendly :)) I have no complaints about the shelter would return if I ever found myself in Thailand again.

I had a wonderful experience! It is all very well organised and the dogs well-being is always their first priority. I met some amazing people and in your free time you can rent a scooter to get around and explore. The work with the dogs is truly special and I'm gonna miss them a lot.
