I spent with Karim and other volunteers really good time. Karim is very kind, he created welcomig atmosphere. The work was basic, and during hot temperatures we worked only for 2-3 hours. You should know that after work, there is a free time but during hot days it´s difficult to do something outside. I experienced desert Chigaga which was incredible to see! If you want to chill little bit, feel free, experience local life and experience beautiful desert, this is right place for you :)

Karim made sure that I felt the most welcome all the time and went above and beyond to get me and the other volunteer, the most out of our time there! Something not a lot of reviews mention is the situation when its summer! So some stuff I would have liked to know beforehand would be that during the summer months you will be staying at Karims cozy house in tagounite, and because of the heat you mainly will be between 4 walls from 12 to 6pm (at least for end of july). Also a side note on the house itself, very artsy and cozy, though cockroaches are for sure a main character😆 hmu for questions!

Personally, I had the most AMAZING time volunteering with Karim! He is so sweet & wonderful! I was there in the heat of the summer with just one other volunteer, so honestly, we didnt do a whole lot of "work" hahaha but we did have lots of laid-back time and did fun activities. I'll say that I enjoyed it so much because it was so down to earth and authentic, but I would want people to know that the living conditions are very basic, so to be prepared for camping life while there, and that hopefully he will get this problem fixed quickly, but we were definitely having bad issues with bed bugs.

We had a wonderful week in Tagounite and with Karim! From stepping off the bus he was warm and friendly, and we felt immediately welcome in his life and home (and had some amazing meals!). We visited during the hotter part of the year so it was very warm during the days, but Karim is massively accommodating and we weren't expected to work too long, had the chance to chill at the house, and hang out with locals at the cafe until the sun went down. I'm very eager to return during the cooler season to see Karim again and return to this beautiful part of the world. Shukran!

Had an absolutely amazing time with Karim. He's such a kind hearted man and did everything he could to make me feel welcome. I only stayed a few days but wish I could have stayed longer as the days I spent there were so peaceful and the stars at night were so peaceful. Work is generally done in the morning which leaves the afternoons free for relaxing or any other activities you feel like doing. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone considering it, Karim makes you feel like a part of his family and I can wholeheartedly say it was the highlight of my time in Morocco

I stayed at the farm place for about 12 days and he is a really kind and attentive person, and the time there really flew by and was wonderful. If you want a real Moroccan experience, I recommend this place to everyone 😊
