Staying at Bruno's was really a great experience to me! I both had the domestic dimension with the cats and a small house to take care of but also the environment around is wild and wonderfall. I was able to get in touch with many locals and travellers , whitch was amazing and enriching, but at the same time we had great hikes in the nearby river, waterfall and pond, and were able to appriciate the untouched nature firts hand. Bruno and Jose are both really caring hosts, both in a pragmatic way (food, bed sheets ecc) but also with their spirit, always making sure we were happy and at hease.

This experience at the house is very cool. The place carries Bruno and Zé's imprint, with all their baggage and life experiences. Roberta was a sweetheart; she welcomed me very warmly, and took me to see the peaks in the surroundings and to have the best meals, haha. And Valéria was the Venezuelan-Ecuadorian who was the most Brazilian I've met, lol. Wow, I lived incredible days there, I already miss everyone, including Candombá, who slept with me and was my alarm clock, lol. Thanks Bruno, Zé and Roberta! Besides highly recommending them, I will definitely come back!

My volunteer work at Lampão's house was a wonderful experience. The center is located outside the city, surrounded by nature — a truly wonderful and tranquil place. Bruno is a great host, very attentive and generous. Roberta, the volunteer who has been there longer, is an excellent person with a big heart. I really enjoyed our time together singing, talking, walking, eating, and working on projects around the place. There are also three beautiful cats that make the place even more special. I loved the opportunity and I totally recommend it.

A community of excellent people, the reception was unbeatable and we experienced Brazilian culture from within for a few weeks.
Despite being a fairly remote area from the city, it has more positive aspects than it seems.
It is just a few minutes away from rivers and waterfalls.
In the end, I would do it again with my eyes closed.

I really enjoyed my stay at the house! The place is very beautiful and full of peace, surrounded by nature and art. The sky there is surreal. The kitties are absolutely adorable. Bruno and Zé were incredibly welcoming and lovely. They even guided us on a trail! Ro, who helps them take care of the place, is an angel! The vibe at the house is very pleasant and it was a great opportunity to disconnect from my cellphone. There is a river nearby and some really cool trails!

I loved volunteering at the house. I learned a lot from Bruno and Zé, both wonderful and welcoming people. I loved looking at the sky, the starry night. I disconnected from city life and connected with myself. In the social media part it was very smooth, the work is not exhausting, there was time to get to know rivers, waterfalls, and caves around Barro Branco. The energy is solar, so some things are limited at night, so I used the night to read my books, play, talk with other volunteers and hosts, or even sleep earlier. I slowed down.
