Everyone here is amazing. the beach is super close and the location is great — about 10 minutes from the beach. it's close enough to go out and enjoy the nightlife, but far enough to get away from the chaos and rest. the tasks are very simple, and everyone's needs. i 100% recommend it.

My experience at the hostel was mixed. The place is amazing, quiet, with a big, clean kitchen and a nice accommodation for volunteers. That said, there is some disconnect between the listing and the reality. It's not really a conventional hostel (no dorms), so it's less social, though there are a lot of volunteers. I applied for housekeeping, cleaning, reception and administration, but in practice it's mostly maintenance work due to the low number of guests. Tasks can be unclear, as there isn't a structure to it, you mainly do what asked. By agreement with the owner, I left early.

From the moment I arrived at the hostel, I felt at home. The atmosphere was incredible, the hostel was beautiful , and the staff were truly exceptional. The guests at the hostel were kind. from the accommodations to the organized and easy tasks everything was great. Montañita is a stunning and unique town with a vibe like nowhere else in the world. I highly recommend anyone considering it to volunteer at this hostel—you won't regret it!

My experience at the hostel was lovely. It is a calm and relaxing place which is what I was looking for. I enjoyed working in the garden. The other volunteers were really amazing; this was definitely the best part- building genuine connections. The facilities are great and the atmosphere is very chilled and laid back. It is an the hostel.

The hostel Montañita is a very beautiful place! The volunteers with whom we worked with were all very friendly and welcoming, always there to help if you need anything. Montañita is also a beautiful town with a nice beach and lots of good restaurants and bars. I would recommend!
