The shelter army was my first volunteer job and i couldn't ask for a better way to start my journey. i met amazing people that i considered as family during my stay and became friends for life! the work at the clinic is very enriching and rewarding, seeing the progress some animals can have thanks to the clinic's help is so encouraging to continue in this path! for this job you have to be very consistent with some animals because they need daily assistance and help which can be someday complicated but at the end of the day you'll just be grateful to change an the shelter's life.

I absolutely loved my time at the shelter army! The work you do there is so important and you can really see the difference it makes in the animals lives. The hours spent working are fulfilling and enjoyable and the team of volunteers really made my time so special. You get the opportunity you watch and assist in surgeries and the Vets are always willing to show and teach you new things with which was really a highlight for me. You truly fall in love with the animals and the clinic, I already know I'll be back. I cannot thank the shelter army enough for such an unforgettable experience.

This was my first volunteering experience and it was better than I could ever have expected ! I stayed there only two weeks and really regretted not staying longer. The work is very rewarding, you get so attached to all the doggies and cats as they all need so much attention and will give you all the love back ! I'm gonna miss these adorables furry faces so much

Couldn't have chosen a better place for my first volunteering experience. I spent a lot of time with the puppies and regularly cleaned their cages. The Foundation is also located in a safe area, and I could easily reach supermarkets within just a few minutes on foot. Everyone was incredibly helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good volunteering experience

I had a really great experience and an amazing time at the clinic. Our host, Carl was really kind and helpful. The accomodation and food provided was great as well. The dogs at the house, and at the clinic, are really cute, such sweathearts :) The cats as well of course. The working hours were great, and the work as well. We got 2 days off per week so we had plenty of time to rest as well. Thank you for this amazing experience! I highly recommend it to everyone!!

I had the best time at the shelter Army Foundation! If you love dogs and cats, this is the place for you. The work you do is interesting and fun, the staff and other volunteers are so nice and the animals are the cutest ever. Carl makes sure you feel welcome and is clear about what you can expect here. The house is comfortable and close to the beach so you can go there in your time off. I cant recommend this place enough!! Thank you so much:)

The two weeks I spent with the shelter Army flew by because it was such a wonderful experience. The work is simple and only takes part of the day, leaving plenty of time to bond with the dogs. Besides helping at the clinic, you can witness rescues and surgeries, and the staff are always kind and supportive. A special thanks to Carl for being such a welcoming host. The accommodation is comfortable and includes a kitchen. This experience gave me a sense of purpose and reminded me how much I love animals. Candice - one of the dog - will always have a special place in my heart.

I spent 2 weeks here and this experience was perfect. The volunteers were amazing and the workers as well. The work was so rewarding and reasonable. The dogs were lovely too and easy to get attached to. At times it can be difficult due to taking care of sick dogs, however volunteering here will definitely help their lives. Thank you to Carl and everyone for looking after me during my stay.
