We had great experience there., even ended up staying longer. The family is very friendly and generous. Working hours aren't strict and work itself can be something different every day which was fun. We got fed twice a day, always nice meals and even if you get hungry you can always prepare something for yourself. They also took care of me when I fell sick. I would definitely recommend to go there. :)

The family welcomed us with warm energy from day 1 when they picked us up in the bus terminal. The family is very kind, friendly, caring, happy and attentive. They would always treat us on markets if we went on markets. We have been shown around and taken on local adventures to nearby cities. We have been well fed during our whole stay. We had our own private room. The jobs and schedules were very fair. Muchísimas gracias a todos! Gracias por recibirnos en su casa!

I had the pleasure of volunteering at the organization Quetzalcóatl, a family-run project located in a small town in the mountains of Mexico. The experience was incredibly rewarding. The work included farming, cleaning, and taking care of animals, all in a serene, eco-friendly setting. The house itself is massive and beautifully lush with plants, making it a perfect environment for learning about sustainable living. I would highly recommend this volunteer opportunity to anyone interested in permaculture, eco-friendly living, or just looking for a peaceful escape in the mountains.

The organization was my first volunteer experience with Worldpackers and it was excellent :)
It's a safe place and committed to its mission. The people in charge are very wise and you can learn a lot from them. The activities are aligned with the ecological theme and the area is a very beautiful place with a lot of vegetation.

It's a quiet and welcoming place to stay; they respect schedules, they are clear about all the agreements, and they really go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable. It really is a wonderful family, and I highly recommend going there to recharge your energy. I feel very grateful for my stay there and for everyone's hospitality, thank you very much!!!

It's an incredible, warm place where you really feel like a member of the community. You learn a lot about ecotechnologies, but also about other perspectives and ways of living. The place is ideal if you want to connect with nature and get away from the city, enjoying outdoor activities, whether during volunteering or outside volunteering. There are some trails you can walk along; the place is very safe and very quiet.

Having spent a little more than a month here, I am completely convinced that this space is much more than an organization: it is a family with a clear and deeply human vision. I admire their commitment to reducing the impact of human actions on this planet, which has so far remained our only habitable home. Their work, dedication, and coherence inspire.
I wholeheartedly hope they continue advancing in their noble mission, and a very large part of me is completely sure that this will be the case.
