A spectacular opportunity & place!! The beautiful family at the organization were the most humble and kind people I've ever met!! The volunteer activities were engaging & worthwhile! If you're looking for a volunteer with great people, hospitality, amazing food, culture, & community then this is it. The accommodation was also very good, and the hours (5 per day, 10-3) 5 days a week were very pleasant! Thank you so much for the opportunity, nos vemos!!

I really enjoyed my time at the organization, and I felt a part of the family as soon as I walked in. Everyone was so welcoming and were really intention in making sure that I had everything I needed to be comfortable. It is clear they have a lot of experience hosting volunteers, and da very good job at it. Meal times were the most social, and although I had minimal Spanish they were happy to help me work on it. There was always enough food. Evenings were very quiet and I was mostly on my own. The work was fair and what I expected. Overall a very positive experience !

I had so much fun with this host and I learned a lot. Everyone was very committed to helping me have a fun and engaging trip. They had regular language lessons and other activities like movie night, game nights, and group walks. The volunteering felt fulfilling and productive. I hope to come back again and visit.

I had a really good experience here. The work was hard, and was challenging because I was under the impression that I would be working with the eco-technologies (which was my fault for not reading the description clearly). I learned about sustainable living and about the amazing technologies they build and share with the community. The food was wonderful and there were delicious meals cooked every single day.
Overall, I think the best part of this experience is the family. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and like I was part of the family. Can't say enough good things about them!

I enjoyed my stay and learned about sustainable technologies, growing vegetables & soil management. I gained skills in gardening and developed a deeper appreciation for nature. I felt completely welcomed by the family & experienced a warm atmosphere. They are incredibly kind and well-connected within the small the organization community, which allowed me to learn about local life beyond the work. Everyone is open, curious, & helpful, always willing to share their knowledge. Alex is an amazing cook, and I will miss his delicious meals. I'm grateful for this time and the experiences I was able to have.

My stay was really nice, sometimes the work was hard but the meals were great, the facilities were quite good and I appreciate that everyone was patient with my minimal Spanish and spoke English with me. It was nice to be in a place that felt quiet and relaxed. Some of the jobs I did included planting beans and cucumbers, composting, yard work, and cleaning (demolishing a barbecue). The whole family is very lovely and welcoming and this part of Veracruz is beautiful

I had a fantastic time volunteering with Alex and his family. They're so friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home. The work I did was always varied and enjoyable and the food that Alex and his mother cook is truly delicious! Alex knows so much about everything and I was able to learn many new things thanks to him. It's really insightful to see how the family uses eco technologies to leave minimal impact on the environment. I highly recommend this experience, if you're looking for a truly authentic Mexican experience where you're warmly welcomed and treated with respect.

3 weeks here was the best experience. Alex and his family have pure and warm hearts. Every morning I helped them make local food and had time to talk to them. Also, their cooking skills are the best. I ate a lot every day. The work was not difficult. I could get close to nature by cutting grass or harvesting crops. On weekends, I went somewhere with them to play (a waterfall, a nearby city, or hiking). I originally planned to stay for 2 weeks, but I couldn't leave, so I stayed for another week. The time with Alex is peaceful. The best experience in Mexico.

I had a great time here learning and helping the family. They really look out for you and the hospitality is next to none. They put in a great amount of effort to show you how things work and are so passionate about what projects they work on. The 2 weeks I spent here were so varied and every day brought something new! Always an experience I will cherish😊

I spent 2 weeks with this family of 6 and all of their animals! There are very endearing and have a lot of knowledge that they love to share. The place is relaxing and there are a lot of ecological techniques like dry toilets, biodigesters, phytopurifying plants and many others that are undergoing maintenance.During the week, the work last 5 hours and is very variable. Then we all have lunch together and everyone goes about their business.I had the luck to attend Maria de Dios's posada, taste lot of great Mexican food, learn to play a bit of ukulele, and go to markets on Sundays ! Thank you :)
