My volunteer opportunity at the hostel was an absolutely amazing experience! The staff always put in the effort to ensure my comfort within the workplace, and always kept the atmosphere fun and lighthearted. I was extremely fortunate to have worked alongside a wonderful group of volunteers, all of which became close friends. To say this experience is one I cherish is an understatement. I would recommend them hundreds of times to anyone searching for volunteer work. I'd love to return purely for the wonderful people I met in my environment.

The hostel and Paracas was such a great experience! The work itself is very easy to do and the roles are well defined. The schedule is great as well and the bar/experiences staff are so fun & welcoming. I loved my time working here and would absolutely recommend!

Volunteering in Paracas was the most amazing experience, the little town is great, the facilities of the hostel are great- it's right at the beach, the staff is super welcoming and some of them feels like family. The work hours are kinda tiring but fun, you get to interact with everyone, organizing some activities, being a bartender and just waitressing tables.
Its really a party hostel, every single night we have a different activity and during the weekends we have huge parties that are so much fun. The only thing that I didn't like at all was the staff's food, but still worth it

It great place to practice and improve your Spanish my workmates mostly spoke Spanish so it great.I learned about different cuisine and shared mine as well...Some days where quiet.Paracas is the place if you want to take it slow..the hostel kitchen and bar staff where amazing they made feel at home from day one...the daily lunches where soooooooo delicious (Peruvian food) Would recommend

Unfortunately, this volunteering experience wasn't for me, and I ended up leaving 2 weeks early. There was only one other volunteer (both of us only lasted a week there btw), so it lacked any social atmosphere within volunteers, especially when compared to other volunteering experiences i had. I also found it hard to connect with the staff, as they already had their own established group. Most of my shifts were at night, which made socialising difficult, and I spent a week washing dishes everyday for 5 hours straight, which felt more like paid work than volunteering.

My tasks mainly involved serving food/drinks, cleaning dishes and restocking the fridge/ice. The work atmosphere was relaxed and I enjoyed being part of the team. Especially on weekends we had a lot of fun working together. Carlos was flexible & considerate with the work schedule. Yoga classes were not offered during my stay although they had been mentioned online. More regular cleaning of the volunteer bathroom & rubbish bins would be appropriate. I made meaningful connections with some of the staff & locals which helped me practice Spanish. I'm grateful for the experience and will miss it :)

This was my first WP experience with more negative than positive aspects. The room was small and hot, with staff constantly going in and out on weekends. The food was the worst I've had so far. They were not open to suggestions. Although I applied to offer well-being activities, there was no willingness to include them. With few exceptions, the team felt immature and unprofessional. Manager Luis lacks leadership and communication skills and shows an alarming inability to respond to conflict professionally. He is clearly unprepared to handle situations with calmness and emotional intelligence.

The hours are totally respected, the place to stay is so cool. The tasks are simple and it's a pleasure to help them. There is a great ambiance there, I would definitely recommend it to everyone !

Everyone at the hostel was welcoming and friendly. The tasks are divided between the bar and the kitchen, which mainly involve washing dishes and organizing plates. Working hours are always respected, and the tasks are not too difficult. The beach and the national reserve in Paracas were so amazing that I went there several times. If you enjoy both partying and nature, this is the perfect place to volunteer!

I truly loved my time at the hostel. The staff and the other Volunteers felt like family right away and made you feel comfortable. I worked behind the bar which was really fun. The tasks were pretty straightforward and work hours were always respected. I would fully recommend volunteering here!!
