His mother is an amazing woman who works hard and cooks incredible food, and I’ve formed what I hope will be a long-lasting friendship with his sister, Rara. The conversation with Rames and the outstanding nature, is the best part!!

I spent two weeks with Ramesh and his mother and it was most wonderful. Ramesh is an extremely nice person whom I see as a brother. He made me feel welcomed and made sure that I was well and comfortable. His mother is an extremely sweet person as well who prepared 3 square meals for us everyday, while simultaneously working extremely hard. For me, 14 days felt like 2-3. Although I could not help as much as I would have liked to in farming and animal care, I had a wonderful time helping Ramesh run his tuition. The most memorable part for me was spending time with Ramesh himself.

I could experience an authentic nepali life during the days I spent at Ramesh's the farm. The farm is located in a beautiful hilly area and there is a stunning view just 2min. away. I helped with the animals and to rebuild some ceilings that unfortunately a storm destroyed at the first day I arrived, leaving us without power for some days. His mom is a lovely and strong woman who wakes up to work before sunrise and only stops after sunset, always taking care of us making meals and chiyas. My days over there was peaceful and I enjoyed every single moment. I hope to visit this place again.

I had a really great time staying here with Ramesh. I especially loved taking care of the animals, and doing daily tasks around the village with Ramesh. Myself and my best friend Alex had a brilliant time staying with Ramesh. The location was one of the more remote places we had ever visited, which only added to the unique experiences we had there. Our working hours were never too intense and Ramesh was always working with us or just around the corner to provide guidance if needed! We both feel we have made a lifelong friend in Ramesh, and hope to return one day!

Staying in this local village has been an incredible experience, honestly! Fist of all, I felt like at home from day 1, thanks to the host, plus, everyone welcomed me with open arms, which it made me feel relax and it helped me enjoying this experience. Secondly, I was able to get immersed within the local culture, which it was one of my main reasons of this trip. So, thank you for showing me how your daily routine looks like and for teaching me about your culture. And last but not least, I learnt about slow life surrounded by nature, I highly recommend you to join this experience!!

This was my second time at the farm and it was just as amazing as the last time. The family is amazing and welcoming and you get to emerge in local village life far from busy cities and in gorgeous nature. I would recommend everyone to visit this place!
