I really enjoyed my time at the hostel. Lots of beers (usually courtesy of Miha), card games and fun people. The work can be tough at times but you'll get plenty of time to roam around town and meet loads of new people. Since we worked at the end of the season we had to work 10 days straight due to lack of staff, if you are planning on volunteering in october take that into account. Other than that the experience and the team were great. All of them except that bitch Reina who will be purring on your lap one second and bite you the next. Still, i miss her.

I very much enjoyed my time in Bled and am so sad I had to cut it short.
The team there were amazing and truly felt like family by the end of it. I have had hosts in the past that keep to themselves and this was not the case with Miha (already missing the karaoke nights)
The work required a decent amount of time but nothing that wasn't already agreed in the interview.
I found myself talking to so many of the guests here and making so many connections outside of the people I worked with.
Just a beautiful area with beautiful people :))

I had the best time in Bled! I felt very supported by the other volunteers & staff— the team is like a family. There is a decent amount of work to be done but everything was made very clear from the start and we finished early most days. Everyone was flexible and understanding, and I felt Miha was very invested in making sure everyone on the team was happy. I had so much fun hanging out with the other staff & guests 🫶 Great vibes and I’m very sad to be leaving!!

My overall the experience was great. The work was not difficult, and we usually finished everything early. The place was really clean, and the kitchen well stocked. Miha is a great host, and the whole team was welcoming. The one thing that could be annoying is that our dorm is really small, and the bathroom could be a bit better equipped for 4-5 people using it.

Heartbroken to leave! I had the most wonderful time at the hostel. The work and hours are reasonable, and balanced out between the volunteers. Miha, the owner does a weekly shop for pantry items, and any other bits we wanted we could just get ourselves from the market down the road. He treats the volunteers as he would the full time staff, like family. We spent almost every night hanging out as a team, plus social life at the hostel is excellent as there are two communal areas. Wish I could stay forever! 🧡 big love, Emma

Really good experience. It is a decent amount of work and you sometimes work over the scheduled hours but you also have plenty of time to do things around your shift as well as one - two days off a week. Such a nice area and fun team.

If you like beer and walking this is the place for you. Very cleanly hostel- easily the cleanest i've stayed in. Structured hours. A good amount of work but totally worth it. Shout out to all the staff. they are very nice and this experience was a great success. Felt very at home almost immediately.

My experience at the hostel was exceptional. From day one, the shifts and tasks were clearly defined, strictly respecting everything listed on the Worldpackers posting. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home immediately, and the hostel facilities and location are simply amazing. You can easily tell how great the vibe is here because guests leave genuinely happy, with many of them constantly extending their stays—a true reflection of the staff's positive energy and the great environment they maintain. I highly recommend this volunteering experience.

I stayed in the hostel in april and it was truly amazing experience. the hostel opened at the end of the month, so there wasn't that much work and we had more free time. during high season i can imagine the place gets really busy and the work is harder. the hostel is surrounded by beautiful nature and the bus connections there are also very nice. atmosphere at hostel is super friendly and i felt like at home from start. i would totally recommend going there, if you're looking for lively place where you meet new travellers every day:)

Overall a great experience, especially thanks to the volunteer team🫶 The tasks are simple and true to the listing and the location of the hostel is perfect for exploring Bled and nearby areas! There were 2 bikes we could use which was really nice! Only downside was feeling a bit disrespected and ignored when I asked about the overwork I had been doing. The problem was small but the reaction made me lose trust.
