Also is important to remember that you have to bring your own plate, bowl, cup and cutlery as they don give you one or lend you. The restaurant staff is a bit rude but they become friendlier with the dates. The staff from the bar and reception is amazing!!!

This was my favorite volunteer position I've ever had. The island is a literal paradise, and the staff was extremely welcoming, especially our volunteer coordinator, Sele. Leaving this place felt like leaving behind a second family, and I'm so grateful for the people that made it feel that way.

The hotel is such a fun place to volunteer! It's a bigger hostel with lots of workers and travelers to socialize with. The tasks are simple and include organizing activities for guests, helping in the restaurant, and showing guests to their rooms. There was a bit of communication error at first but everything worked out fine in the end. This place is stunninggg and I was able to do my diving certification as well. Super reccomenddd!!!

I can recommend this volunteering 100%. It's an amazing place with amazing people and the volunteering conditions are good. The work is easy and chill and you get three meals per day. The food is really good. The island is beautiful and the people who live and work there super friendly!

It's my third volunteer experience in Colombia and I recommend this place for a first experience. The hotel is magical! The hotel is nice and it's in town, close to shops, restaurants and parties. Sul was on top of things before my arrival. The accommodations are shared, small, but private and fresh. The bathrooms are clean. The breakfasts are delicious and varied; lunches and dinners could improve, although there is a discount at the restaurant. The atmosphere is very sociable and overtime hours can be discussed with Sul, always willing to listen. It was a wonderful experience!

My experience at La Playita was great :) The tasks to be performed were easy and fun, since the hotel staff are people who make you feel comfortable and with whom you enjoy spending time. The hotel became my home in a very short time; todxs were very kind and eager to make me feel comfortable in all respects, especially Sele who is a beautiful and understanding person and actively helps us familiarize ourselves among volunteers and with the space; as a traveler I felt very safe in the hotel; the tasks are very simple and I was able to meet wonderful people; there are some bugs in the volunteers' room but maintenance is done and they are harmless; I am very grateful to the hotel and to the whole hotel team; I can't wait to return! 💗⭐️

My volunteering experience was very enriching. From the first day I felt warmly welcomed and I learned a lot about the hotel and its surroundings. The place is beautiful, people are usually kind and the tasks are simple, in addition to working hours being properly respected. I really enjoyed this experience and I have great memories. As a suggestion, I think it would be good to integrate more volunteers with other areas of the hotel, such as activities, diving or cooking. Aside from that, everything was excellent and I would definitely recommend it.
