An absolutely amazing time, so much so that the morning of my departure I couldn't help but feel a sense of wistfulness as I was saying goodbye to not only my fellow volunteers (friends) and the hosts family. One month flew past, bonding and spending time with everyone felt like a holiday like no other. The work was fun it was exactly what I had hoped and more I learnt lots and was able to spend time in nature and a beautiful and enjoyable place. This was my first trip with worldpackers and as a volunteer, the farm is one that I would recommend and talk about with anyone who will ask.

Kirill and Natalia are the kindest and warmest people I have ever met. From day one, I felt completely at ease and well looked after with them. They were always friendly and attentive to my needs. During my time there, I felt like part of a small family along with Natalia, Kirill, their children, and the other volunteers. We often sat outside together in the evenings, shared meals, and had a lot of fun. I had absolutely no negative experiences with them! This was my first experience with Worldpackers, and I can highly recommend them to anyone.

The farm is just extraordinary! It is a place in the middle of the nature. You will be able to share so many good moments like bbq, family dinners with host and his family. They welcoming you to be part of the family. The tasks are from helping cleaning hot tubs to feed animals and make the cabins for the guests. However, you are surrounded by beautiful countryside. Thank you for making me part of the family! I will go back for sure 🫶🏼

It was very nice, the place is super beautiful, Kirill is super chill with the hours and work schedule, he along with his wife are super friendly and welcoming, i loved the work and helping with whatever i can, they let you borrow a car. Kirill tried to spend as much time as possible with volunteers and took us to a concert, made barbecue and bought beer, they always make sure you are alright, you can go to a lot of pretty nice nearby places like kuldiga or Riga. Im very happy and thankful with them for the opportunity, the meaningful experience and the time i spent with them

It was my first volunteering experience and it was even better than I expected. I really felt that the owners, Kirill and Natalia, truly care about their volunteers. They are very kind and friendly! They often invited us to share nice moments together (barbecues, meals, etc.). I had to go back home after one month, otherwise I would have stayed longer without hesitation! I was working remotely at the same time, and the internet connection was good, even though we were in a magical place surrounded by nature. I loved the winter atmosphere. the farm will definitely be missed! :)

I had a lovely stay with Kirill and Natalia. The farm and the lake are beautiful, it is a very peaceful setting. The work is easy, I mainly worked with Natalia cleaning guest houses. Living space is communal and is nice with a simple kitchen. If you can drive manual it's very helpful for grocery shopping and visiting other towns, I recommend taking a bus to Riga city. the farm is a lovely, relaxed experience.

Kirill and Natalia are incredible people and made this first volunteering experience the best possible. I was there during Christmas and NYE and they were my family during that festive time.
The work to be done is very simple and not many hours per day (around 3h), at least during winter.
Also, they let a car available to the volunteer that helps a lot, as the ranch stays in a rural area. Besides that, you can use some nice facilities if available for free as the sauna or hot tube.
I would totally recommend the experience!

I spent about 2 and a half months at the farm, and I enjoyed every minute. Kirill and Natalia are both incredibly kind people who made me feel at home. I was included in family activities and even got a chance to travel to Lithuania and Sweden. Having a car (manual) for volunteers is incredibly helpful and drastically increases the amount of activities/opportunities. I was able to drive to Riga and see Zara Larson (10/10), and it's easy to explore other small towns as well. I recommend Koldiga. Anybody would be lucky to spend time here. My main responsibilities at the farm were feeding the animals and walking the dogs, cleaning the guest cabins, preparing the water tubs and saunas for guests. There were also small area maintenance tasks such as raking leaves and improving the territory. The working hours are comfortable, and the assigned tasks are easy to carry out. Overall, I am very happy about this opportunity and my experience. The hosts, Kirils and Natalia, are very responsive, kind, funny and open-hearted. Thank you the farm! ♥️

The farm is an amazing place to unplug from stressful city life and experience the real Latvian lifestyle! An incredible family lives here alongside a cozy bunch of animals (dogs, horses, rabbits, pigs, etc.). It's wonderful waking up surrounded by nature, water, and animals every day. The whole place is incredibly relaxed; they show volunteers the local culture and embrace a "take things as they come" attitude. You work with freedom under responsibility, helping with real ranch struggles and improving your skills. VERY NICE EXPERIENCE!
