Great experience. Hostel was very nice (bathroom, private room). Work was very transparent, hours were good, and impactful. Cannot wait to go back!

It is was a good time at Inglés Rápido the school. I could learn a lot with the students and the school team. I was able to deal with all kind of students and English level backgrounds during the speaking sessions and the school offers a good infrastructure and material. Thank you for the experience!

My sister and I volunteered for one week at Ingles Rápido in the school and had an amazing experience! The teachers and staff welcomed us with open arms, and the atmosphere was positive and motivating. We worked with kids, teens and some adults, helping them practice English through activities and short conversations. We enjoyed every minute of it! We also created content for social media. I loved learning about culture in Ecuador. Honestly, we were sad to leave and wished we could have stayed longer! This experience far exceeded our expectations. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable :)

Hello! Hello!

I am very happy with this learning, this performance, and the experience we have had in this wonderful journey. During these days, my students were truly happy. I am sure that not only at this institute, but anywhere, you will do an excellent job.

I am enormously grateful for what you do and for the quality with which you do it.
Don't stop shining and helping others shine; you are excellent.

We as an institute look forward to you returning soon!

I can't stress enough how beautiful this one week experience was. I would have loved to stay longer if my agenda would have allowed me. My main task was to help the students practice they are speaking and pronunciation skills. It was really fun because they give you so much energy and are very proactive. The school itself has also a beautiful learning ideology which supports their students autonomy and confidence. From the very first day the team welcomed me and made me feel at home creating a warm environment. This experience was very meaningful and rewarding. I am very grateful!

I was really looking forward to this experience, but unfortunately communication was an issue. After we agreed on dates, the host stopped responding. I only heard back two to three days after my arrival date, and the instructions provided were unclear. Because of this, I wasn’t able to go through with the experience. I hope communication improves for future volunteers.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. There were some hiccups we experienced relating to responsibilities (we did a lot more content production than we initially thought we were going to) and some uncomfortable situations where we had limited guidance with students and new clients/potential students(sometimes there was an emphasis on advertising us native speakers rather than aiding the students learning). That being said, the connections we made with teachers and the students made the experience worthwhile. Additionally, the accommodations provided (hotel and lunch) were amazing.

My experience at Inglês Rápido the school went far beyond my expectations. I was warmly welcomed, supported by an amazing team, and quickly made meaningful friendships. The activities are dynamic, and students receive real attention. Ecuador's culture and hospitality truly impressed me. I experienced personal and professional growth and felt right at home. I highly recommend this volunteer opportunity to anyone looking for learning, cultural exchange, and a meaningful experience.

In Ingles Rapido the school I got to know a lot of local people and students. The voluntary is pretty chill, the academy has a very dinamic way to teach and to keep students motivated and having fun. Also you might participate in a group game or activity that are really fun to do. The hostal is a few meters from the academy so its a very easy going voluntary

The teachers and staff were excellent and very friendly. Jocelyn took the time to explain everything in the beginning and enthusiastically welcomed me (she may have downplayed how many videos I would be in by a lot...haha). Anyhow everything was lots of fun, the students ranging from 10- 70 years old were happy to practice great experience whenever given an opportunity,

I had my 3. voluntary in the SALC and came there to support language courses & activities (Cooking/Music) in English. At the end my daily task was practicing dialogs with the students and get to know each other for 15min. The students were very friendly and interested in learning English which is why I still had fun at work :) The cozy hostel & good restaurant was nearby which was practical. Dear SALC Team, thanks for the experience! One fact you should definitely add to the description is that you record the volunteers. I didn't feel respected when I said I don't want that...
