I had the most amazing time with Paul, Louise and their beautiful family. I will always cherish the days in the lodge as one of the greatest of my life. They are so kind and polite, you can not help but to fall in love with the beautiful life they have built. The job was also great! We created content to promote the book and, most important, we had a good time doing it. the lodge truly became a home away from home to me. I can not wait to be back and enjoy walking in nature, having deep conversations and spending more time with this amazing family.

Staying with Paul and Louise was so lovely! They are a very passionate and entertaining pair (and Paul is a terrific cook). It was a great balance of social time and alone time but I would not recommend this stay unless you specifically are looking for somewhere to unplug and live remotely for a while. The room was very cozy and there are lots of nice walks to do around the area. I had a wonderful time at Banff and will always reflect fondly upon it

I loved learning about their rewilding work and meeting all the animals. The whole family is eco-focused and full of inspiring stories. I also collaborated with Louise on some marketing work and we're still in touch. I highly recommend this stay for anyone seeking a wholesome, environmentally conscious Scottish getaway. I loved my time at the lodge. Louise & Paul are kind and welcoming hosts who truly cared about the quality of my experience. I spent most of my working time with Stuart, the head handyman, who is a humble, caring Scotsman with a great sense of humour. The work was exciting and varied and always ended right on the 5-hour mark. I spent my time outside of work exploring the surrounding area on foot or by the provided e-bike. The surrounding countryside is something to behold, wild and magical. The house itself feels like something out of a fairy tale, with a well-equipped common area for volunteers.

Volunteering at the lodge was one of the best experiences, one that will forever be held close to my heart. The Ramsey family are lovely and welcoming, though they are all quite busy which provides sufficient independent time. The property itself and the location are immaculate, it feels like a fairy tale. The wildlife is equally as breathtaking, with frequent sightings of beavers! As someone with an ecological background my tasks were tailored to include some survey work which could not have worked out better for me and turned out to be one of my highlights! I highly recommend volunteering here!
