The Experience

We are a small non-profit hostel in California! Volunteers help staff by folding laundry, cleaning, making beds, and welcoming guests at reception. We seek volunteers who want to experience our beautiful and quiet city, engage with guests, and bring a positive attitude. You should expect to be scheduled 20-24 hours over 5 days (a mix of daytime and evening work). Please let us know if you have any special skills you want to share with us!

Ryan is a veri professional and amazing guy. He did a really great job with the hostel. I couldn't Really ask for a better place. This was the best experience in my life . Go for it.

My time at the hostel was just amazing! Ryan and Shelby are so cool and flexible. The hostel itself is definitely a great place to stay at, with a spacey kitchen and common area and a lot to do in walkable distance or by bus. The work is easy and fast to learn and you have a lot of time off. I already miss Shelby, Ryan and my volunteer friends! It will forever be an unforgettable experience for me 🤍. So if you're still thinking about it, just go! You won't regret it
