The Experience

We are a small 50-bed non-profit hostel in California! Volunteers help staff by folding laundry, cleaning, making beds, and sharing new skills. We are seeking volunteers that want to experience the city as a local, engage with other guests, and bring a positive attitude. You should expect to be scheduled 20 hours over 4-5 days. The hostel is the perfect place for volunteering. My experience was truly special; Ryan is incredibly friendly and made sure I felt comfortable at all times. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hostel is conveniently located close to everything with easy accessibility. I highly recommend the experience if you have the opportunity 🤍

Ryan was an outstanding host, and I could not recommend the hostel more! It was an honor to take part in getting this hostel up and running, and I am so grateful for all the people I was able to collaborate and connect with along the way. Ryan was was an exceptionally clear communicator and truly encouraged and assisted me in making the most out of my time in the hostel. the hostel is a cozy safe space in a prime location, and I feel lucky to now consider Ryan and the rest of the MoHo team a friend of mine!
