We had a lovely experience with Tim and Phoebe in Northern Ireland. Our tasks involved gardening and maintaining the outdoor areas. Every weekend, Tim prepared a dish from a different country, and we joked that we were taking a food trip around the world. Add to that a beautiful garden, great company, and endless stories shared around the table. They were patient, generous, and genuinely kind people. It was a great experience, Phoebe and Tim are lovely people, they made me feel welcome. When I arrived, their daughters, son-in-law, and grandson Mateo were there visiting. My first week I spent helping look after Mateo, who is a super cute and adorable little boy. After they left, I went to work in the garden, and I really enjoyed my volunteer work.The conversations, the delicious meals, the incredible scenery—I wouldn't have enough words to recommend it. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful place, this is your place.

My time in Ireland with Tim and Phoebe was amazing! They were amazing hosts with an amazing huge property. Food was incredible, the garden was beautiful, and their company was perfect. We told so many stories and I learned so much about Ireland's history and so many things about gardening. They were very patient and kind, as it was my first time gardening and my first volunteer trip. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a peaceful experience in beautiful nature. It was really lovely to stay in Phoebe and Tim’s house 😊 The house as well as the property was beautiful (and huge)!! Tasks were simple and nice to do, work hours communicated well and were flexible per day, depending on weather etc :) Days off were very flexible as well and we were able to see Derry, Ballycastle and do 2 hikes along the north coast which was beautiful. I will miss the food, company and card games!

Josh and I had a great time staying with Tim and Phoebe! They are both lovely people who we throughly enjoyed getting to know over the 3 weeks, especially enjoyed playing tennis and cards together. They live in a beautiful area of Northern Ireland and have a great house! The tasks were well explained and very manageable to our skill sets. If they were able to both Phoebe and Tim would be out working with us too. They managed our time and days off well making sure we weren't overdoing our hours which meant we were able to explore the area. We truly loved our time here and would 100% recommend!

Phoebe and Tim are two fun, wonderful people. This experience ranks in the top two of all my 10 years volunteering. Phoebe really knows gardening and taught me things that will greatly improve my gardening. The. estate is quite large and remodeled. The food was fantastic as much as the laughs we had together over dinner. Tim also knows about gardening and we accomplished several projects during my stay. We went different places where they filmed Game of Thrones and Derry, which is a city filled with history. Tim no Phoebe are very welcoming and so much fun. Jump at the chance to go to Claudy.
