Welcome to join our vibrant and fast paced project in Palermo! We are three persons (German, Australian and Swedish) that have met through travelling and are currently working on renovating an old apartment in Palermo's coolest and most authentic neighbourhood. We are all avid world travellers and are looking forward to meet other like minded people to share life stories with.
We are all hard working and enjoy to see the rapid progress in our project. We are looking for people that want to have an impact, learn a new skill and be part of a forward moving project. This is not the right project if you are looking to relax and take it easy during your allocated working hours as we work in a high paced environment and concentration and application is required. On the other hand it provides a great opportunity to learn and develop and be part of something that is quickly evolving where you can get a great sense of accomplishment in a short period of time.
The exchange we offer is half day of work in either morning or afternoon shift in exchange for accommodation and food. We all share an apartment, it's basic but has everything you need (kitchen, bathroom, living room and a small terrace).

As you will be likely learning new skills it is important to communicate clearly and to listen to instructions. You will be gradually introduced to new tasks and those that apply themselves will increasingly be given opportunities to undertake new tasks.
As we host different people from various backgrounds English is the primary language that we communicate in. You do not need an advanced level of English but you do need to make it clear when you do not fully understand something. What is more important is to be enthusiastic, engaged and want to get something out of your experience with us.
