We need helpful volunteers to work with street kids and Youths
The experience
Branches of life International (BOLI): we're an NGO working in slums and streets of Kampala-Uganda. Our main focus is to initiate and establish a community based development project that will foster & promote the welfare of vulnerable and youth by providing them with free counsellings, food, clothes, shelter, education and re-intergrating them back to their families where they ran from. Activities are building, teaching, counseling, feeding.
What you offer
28 hours of help per week
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

fee of $100 which will be reversed to you when you arrive
What you get

Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Discounts on Accommodation:
Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Certificate:
Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.
Requirements
Beginner English or Beginner French
Over 18 years old
Be from outside Uganda
Accepts solo applications and also couples and pairs

Program Details
The volunteers sleep at my home (Kalunda) with my family. My house has a volunteers bedroom that can contain 4 people. They do not have to come with sleeping bags. Beds, mattresses and blankets are provided
We charge 10 dollars/day and that money helps us give the visitors a good and healthy breakfast, and dinner and pay electricity and water bills.
We provide a Certificate at the end of the volunteering period.
We charge any volunteer that comes 50 dollars to pick them from the airport, this covers hiring a car, gas and the driver's allowance and thats paid upon their arrival.
Activities & Shift
You can participate in all activities as longer you have organized some fundraising events for the organization before you travel to Uganda such that you have some money for the activities
Rules
Please make sure that before you even write to me atleast your'e serious with your trip plans to Uganda, we have been even forced to charge commitment fee after having many applications and they don't come at last moment , so please make sure you have answered all the questions above.
