The school-the school is a place that stays in your heart. An organization with clear values based on love. And one where I definitely would have stayed longer if I could have. The quality of the people there is indescribable. I learned so much from Nandita, Bunga, Ibu (special mention to her delicious food!), and Didi, as well as the amazing children with whom we laughed, played, and gave our all to help them learn as much English as possible during our stay. It was also a true pleasure to experience the real the school, to live it alongside locals who treated us like one of their own. I miss you all 💗

I had the most amazing experience at the school and I miss it every day that I'm not there. I was welcomed by the most wonderful group of inspirational women who taught me the importance of their educational project and the value of yoga and spirituality for mindfulness and inner peace. The children were fantastic and so enthusiastic and eager to learn. At KKLC, I felt like an integral part of a family. I needed genuine human connections, and that's exactly what I found here. It was my first volunteering trip and also the first time I'd been so far from home on my own. I'd recommend that everyone, embark on a journey like this, where you can give so much but receive just as much in return. I received so much affection from all the women who work there. I had such an amazing experience volunteering here! I really enjoyed all the différent activities with the children, who are absolutely adorable. I had the opportunity to be fully immersed in the local culture, spending time with local people and enjoying local food too! Everyone working here is incredibly kind, welcoming and ready to help. You can feel how much they care about what they do, and they do it with so much love. I'm leaving with beautiful memories, amazing encounters and so much gratitude. I would definitively recommend to anyone looking for a meaningful experience!

I am so grateful for the time I got to spend at the school centre and was sad to leave at the end of the week! It was an enriching experience teaching English at the local schools as well as the activities at the centre, the children truly are amazing and a pleasure to spend time with. Everyone was so lovely and welcoming at the project as well as locals around the village I met along the way. I was quickly put at ease when I was a little nervous initially for my first class but Bunga and the children made it a great experience!

I had a lovely week at the school centre and wished I could have stayed longer! Everyone was so welcoming and kind to me and I felt very supported when I was a bit nervous about teaching. Although the school itself was closed due to exams for most of the week, the hosts were able to organise for me to teach at local primary schools instead which was a great experience. I especially also loved Ibu Krisna's cooking and the opportunity to take part in a yoga class!

I was able to spend about a week in the school with the school. By the end of the week, I wish I could have stayed for longer. It was a pleasure to teach the children English and assist in their art classes. I also got a chance to take part in the yoga class and meditation. Being around nature and the culture of the school people was a healing experience. The hosts were so kind in taking me around to local cultural experiences and made delicious vegetarian lunches for me.

Oh my goodness! I had the most incredible week at the school. I left with tears in my eyes! I learned so much about Balinese culture, met so many kind people, tried the most delicious food (thank you Ibu Krishna), and adored all the kiddos! Everyone is very respectful and wanting to help make your experience comfortable, meaningful, and fun. Nandita helped make the school feel like home and was very communicative about what the schedule was and what I could expect! Hopefully I can return again and spend more time with everyone next year :) If you're thinking about doing it… DO IT!!!

The experience here is meaningful and amazing for me. I met great people here. Everyone is welcoming and nice. The work is arranged based on the agreed. The food is good and fresh. I also met other international volunteers and become friends. They also have yoga classes. You can even enjoy a little retreat here.

S was my very first Worldpackers experience, and I couldn't have picked a better place! Didi was so sweet, Ibu Krishna cooked the most amazing food (the tempeh was next level!), and Nandita was simply incredible—always kind, supportive, and going above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. I felt completely at home here, and having access to the kitchen anytime was such a bonus. Working with the children was amazing—they are curious, golden-hearted, and the experience enriched me so much. I honestly didn't want to leave and I know I'll definitely be back.
