Working at the eco village was an amazing experience. I was able to connect with nature and reconnect with something in myself that realized the importance of being in and working with the materials around me. Gazi is very flexible and lets you be creative with your work, not being to hands on or specific, and is working to create an open community where people have conversations, teach each other, and are open and caring!!

My experience at the eco village exceeded my expectations. The host is a very interesting, eccentric, and fun person. Although it won't appear this way at first, he will connect with you and treat you like family. He took great care of my needs and I would like to say we have become friends. I also met so many interesting locals and volunteers who I go to connect with. The work for me varied from bioconstruction to carpentry projects. I actually stayed here longer than the agreed upon volunteer dates. I highly recommend this experience and I would love to return in the future.

The eco village is a unique place with Gazi as a creative spirit who will share with you all his thoughts about how he plans the development of the eco village. Almost all my tasks were outside ranging from collecting leaves, flattening and removing soil which came down due to water erosion and sanding and painting doors. I enjoyed a lot the outdoors and handy work. We were three volunteers and two former volunteers who are currently supporting to build a new building. We had a great time with evening fires and drinks including celebrating my birthday in the Kiva which was a unique experience. :)

The eco village is a beautiful place in the middle of nature. I learned a lot about living with other people. The work was mostly cleaning which was because my stay was in February. I recommend other volunteers to visit this nice place to both get in touch with nature, and also to meet other like minded volunteers. I would like to come back!

Gazi was a great “dueno” ! Sharing amazing moments, driving us to stores; to beach, sharing his knowledge

The eco village offers a truly genuine experience with incredible energy—perfect for connecting with nature. Like any place, it could improve some aspects, like better info for new volunteers, but you'll figure it out in a week. Gazi fosters great volunteer interactions, which helps when minor frictions arise. Work varies by season: in high season, expect mostly cleaning and housekeeping; in low season, there's more bioconstruction.

The eco village is in a beautiful area. I enjoyed working with my hands and being surrounded by nature. The other volunteers were fun. Gazi often takes the volunteers to the beach or on excursions to see the area.

The eco village is a truly amazing place. I made lots of great friends there and people that I hope to know for the rest of my life. The work is enjoyable and physical which was perfect for me. It is a truly special place and I can't wait to go back there and spend more time with Gazi and the beautiful experience he has created.

The eco village was a great place to stay and work, where we met a lot of very nice volunteers and had a lot of fun. The work was manageable and a great way to connect with the other volunteers.
