I really loved my time at the hotel. It was my first ever experience doing World Packers and they helped me achieve my goals of practicing Spanish and being part of a community perfectly. When I did sometimes struggle with my spanish the clients were very patient and when needed Shirley would step in to help. Shirley also helped me know which restaurants to go to and she introduced me to a lot of great friends. I looking forward to returning to Filandia next year as a guest. Muchas gracias por todo!

Volunteering at the hotel was the perfect experience. As an Englishman it was an amazing town to be immersed in the culture and to develop my Spanish speaking skills. The hotel is calm and beautiful and you have all the services you need here. Working on reception was relaxed and simple even for a beginner and easy to pick up the tasks each day. I spent my time with a great group of volunteers. I would highly recommend, thank you Lorena 👍

It was a very lovely experience. The lodging is super comfortable and has an excellent location, very close to the central square. The tranquility of the town allows you to disconnect and, in your spare moments, fully connect with the local culture, discover its corners, meet the people and listen to their stories. Moreover, it was a huge pleasure to share day-to-day life with my fellow volunteer. Many thanks to Lorena for opening the doors of the space to us, and a very special thanks to Shirly, who was present at all times from our arrival, welcoming us with the best energy.

My volunteering was wonderful at the hotel. Days before my arrival, Lore was attentive and helped me with all the directions to reach the hotel, she was always very willing to help me, she was very respectful and we collaborated with total calm, honesty and kindness. The place is very cozy. I feel very grateful to Lore, Saris and Shirley for offering me a safe space, a home, always a smile and the willingness to address any concerns. I leave very happy to have learned a bit about the Coffee Axis and I wish to have this volunteering experience again. :)

The experience at the hotel was very lovely and welcoming. The hotel is very comfortable, the relationships I formed there were very human and its surroundings very comfortable. Lorena, who from day one contacted me, always gave me clear instructions, detailed information, and during the entire stay she was attentive to any questions or concerns.
