My month at the school set the bar high for all future volunteer experiences. Daniela, Ida, Sunny, and Carmen are so welcoming and the students are eager to learn. The accommodation is actually much larger than the ones pictured here, and you are in a great place to explore. Work hours are absolutely respected, so you will have plenty of time to do so. The provided groceries are plentiful and always came in a timely manner. I feel lucky to have been able to teach, travel, and meet so many amazing people in such a beautiful place, and I hope to be back someday 💜

I had the amazing opportunity to volunteer with the school over the past few weeks, and I have nothing busy positive things to say about my experience. Daniela, Ida, Carmen and sunny were incredible hosts and coworkers who made me feel welcomed from day one. I also had the chance to meet other volunteers, build meaningful connections, travel together and get close with the students. Everything that was described by the school was accurate, and the experience matched the expectations set before my arrival. This was truly a memorable experience!

I had a lovely experience at the school. This was my first volunteer position abroad and it really set the standard high. Everyone that works there is very sweet and helpful and it's a great way to experience esl teaching. I'd highly recommend volunteering here to anyone!

When I first arrived at the school, I was a bit surprised to discover that I would be teaching classes solo, as I had expected more of a teaching assistant role. However, the classes were small and the students were lovely, so this was not as difficult or scary as I imagined. Daniela, Sunny, Ida, and Carmen were great with supporting me when I asked and really made me feel part of the school family. Overall, my time at the school was an incredible experience that helped me grow both personally and professionally!

I had the best time with the volunteers that I will never forget! The apartment was very comfortable and we had good groceries. You should have a good understanding of English grammar and vocabulary as you have to take classes of people aged from 5+ to adults who have grammar questions. The classes can be tough if you are not used to teaching - they require a good understanding of the English language and all of the English rules. Staff are very kind, fun and friendly and welcoming. Scafati is small but charming and we really enjoyed being there. Very nice month! Keep your room clean

Daniela, Carmen, Ida, Sonny and Anderson all make you feel very welcome. It’s a relaxed environment where they trust you to get on with your work. They very generously took us out for an aperitivo on our second to last day.
You should be aware that you will teach classes. But they are all nice kids and eager to learn. Just be prepared to learn some English grammar if you’re not that strong already.
Made some lifelong friends amongst the volunteer cohort. Good people and Scafati has a certain charm about it.
Make sure to go to the pizza place across the road and get the €3 house wine.

The school was nothing short of great. Me & my partner spent two months here and we highly recommend. The apartment was much bigger than expected, and it's right under the school! I don't think we realized we would fully be solo teaching classes but you are. We only had one shadow lesson before having our own class because we arrived when there was no other volunteers. This isn't typical but it can happen so just giving a warning, Sunny and Daniela are always welcome to questions or further explanation and I always felt support from them when needed. We are thankful and will miss everyone.

I had an amazing time at the school. Everyone was so welcoming from the very start. The town you are located in is a bit small but all of the nearby cities are easy to get to by train. The students were the most rewarding part of the entire experience, they are truly amazing and all eager to learn. The hours are reasonable. You have lessons in the morning and evening most days, and then get Sundays off. The apartment the volunteers stay in is very nice and you get weekly groceries. I'm so grateful for this experience and will miss my the school family!

I spent a month working at Globalfind and it was an unforgettable experience. It was a great opportunity to gain more confidence and increase my group leader skills. You are able to shadow other teachers for the first couple days before heading classes by yourself and I'll admit that it's a little intimidating at first. But I fell into the routine and the role within the first week. The globalfind team (Daniela, sunny, Carmen, and Ida) were welcoming from the get go, and I hope to return one day. I also became very close with the other volunteers and have made life-long memories with them all.

Volunteering at the school was an experience I'll truly treasure. If you have a passion for teaching, this opportunity feels incredibly special. The schedule was smooth, with a few morning lessons and most classes in the late afternoon. Daniela, Ida, Sunny, and Carmen were wonderfully supportive, and weekly groceries were provided with such kindness. I loved the cozy, well-equipped apartment below the school. Cooking, laughing, and bonding with the volunteers became cherished memories. The students were kind, curious, and excited to learn. I hope to return one day!
