I loved my time here! The work is simple and it was a great opportunity to practice Spanish. Anita and the rest of the staff are extremely kind and welcoming:) you can tell that Anita truly cares about the volunteers. I would highly recommend!

I only stayed a week at the hostel, but in this short time I felt very comfortable there. Its a nice little hostel, the tasks were easy and Anita and the other volunteers are very nice and easygoing. The rhythm of nightshift was a bit hard to get used to, but like this I had plenty of time to visit the city, or just relax at the hostel :D I can recommend volunteering there :)

Overall it was a good experience. The hosts are respectful and adhere to schedules. However, I believe the tasks are a bit overwhelming for my idea of volunteering.

It was ok - but you can find better places to stay. I only stayed a week so I didn't have many issues but I saw them on the other volunteers. I didn't “meet” the owners for the first two days of my stay, until the first shift. Ana set the expectations clearly and although I think they expect a lot from a volunteer, you can see her taking the same level of care around the hostel. The other owner was always late when she had to take over my turn and she often seemed to not have time for any of the tasks and would pass them over to the next volunteer. Small hostel, lots of cleaning. No social.

Your review of Nerea is very subjective; from your description it seems you stayed for a month or more and only five days passed, leaving you with little time to get to know the person, the space, or even other volunteers. It’s a shame you couldn't be more upfront and communicate earlier so we could resolve what concerns you; you applied for a night cleaning and care role, nothing else was requested; perhaps you would feel more comfortable in another position. Issues can't be resolved without you telling us before you leave. I think, on my part, we did our best to make sure everything goes well. Thanks anyway.

I had a wonderful experience at the hostel! Lots of free time to see the city or travel to other cities during your 4 days off. Speaking Spanish is pretty important because, from my experience, most of the guest were Spanish speakers. Location is veeery nice since it's centrally located; close to bars, restaurants, pharmacies, etc. I recommend this place if you plan on going to Córdoba for some time!!!

Anna the manager is a friendly person that always help the hosts of the hostel when they need. The hostel is cozy and located in the center of Nueva Cordoba. I mainly worked during the night, and after 1 or 2 night of adaptation everything was fine. I learned a lot from this experience (learnt spanish, met very good people, and learnt the tasks related to hostel management). Gracias por todo y hasta la proxima :)

My experience at this hostel was very positive. Maru, Ana and the whole team were very welcoming, always willing to help and clarify questions. The environment is organized, welcoming and provides a great cultural exchange. In addition, the location is excellent. I recommend this volunteering opportunity for anyone looking to learn, make friends, and have a great experience. Thank you very much for everything!

It's my first experience since I started traveling, staying at a hostel in my hometown, and it has made me happy to do volunteer work here! Connecting with volunteers and guests from other places, sharing dinners, conversations, and World Cup matches! I feel very grateful for the human group you can find here. Regarding the tasks, it's an exchange that requires commitment but it's super easy to maintain! Very clean and organized :) Thanks to the hosts for having me and for their good vibes! You can tell they are great people :)

Heyyyy!!! My days here were very welcoming. The hostesses greeted me very well and a good group formed among the volunteers. The tasks were clear: keep the hostel in order, support at the reception and housekeeping. I really liked that they let me be: that I could play my music during my shifts, share my gastronomy and culture. The living together was very good; the harmony of the place was well maintained. I highly recommend it 💯 %
