Wonderful experience the guest house is literally feels like a home not just a hostel, if you are looking for a place to meet locals and experience Sicily this is the place even as a guest The work was very easy and chilled There was no pressure I was able to do it at my own pace I never met Natalia, but she always communicated via WhatsApp to make sure I was enjoying my experience & checked up on the volunteers regularly Highly recommend this excellent Thanks 🙏🏽

My time at the guest house was more fulfilling than I ever could have imagined. I leave here with friendships that will last a lifetime and memories that I will cherish forever. I am forever grateful to the guest house, Santo and Lucia (as well as our furry friends Eva and Granita) for creating and sustaining such a welcoming and wholesome environment. I got the chance to connect with my culture, work on my Italian and meet many local friends. I also formed a bond with the other volunteers that could only be describe as sisterhood. the guest house holds such a special place in my heart ❤️

I am absolutely grateful for choosing the guest house as my first volunteer experience. This place felt like home from the moment I arrived there. I've learned a lot about Sicilian culture, traveled a lot on my days off and was surrounded by nice people during my entire stay. I am extremely happy I've been there at the same time with other volunteers who became my second family. The tasks where easy to do, working hours where clear and hosts were respectful. Absolutely recommend the guest house, a very unique and authentic place. Will come back for sure! Con amore da Julia 💋

For my 1st volunteering experience, the guest house was truly the best place to meet new people, have fascinating conversations and build the kind of intense bonds I was hoping for.
Although, besides the relaxed work, I needed some time to adapt to all the dynamic changes within the house, I was eventually able to grow and make the most of this beautiful environment and of the people who bring it to life. the guest house is truly magical and Catania an ideal place to make memories and explore. :)) These past 3 months were filled with life-changing experiences for which I am forever grateful <3

The guest house is a magical, cozy place where I felt so welcomed from the very first moment I entered the house. The volunteer work is chill, mainly reception tasks and cleaning. There is freedom for creativity: you can suggest your own workshops, and in my case, I even ran my own coaching sessions! Natalia, the recruiter, is super kind and explains the concept of the place very well. Gaby and Santo are amazing and supportive managers, and fellow volunteers were awesome. The schedule is respected, and three days off let you explore Sicily. I left with great memories and new friendships. Thank you!

I absolutely had the best time at the guest house! We were 5 female volunteers, the work was doing check-ins with guests and cleaning and overall very chilled. I always felt comfortable to ask upcoming questions, as the two Managers Gaby and Santo always responded quickly and were helpful and caring about us Volunteers. Besides working at the hostel (shifts were 5-6 hours each, 3-4 times per week) we had lots of free time to explore Catania, do day Trips and relax. To sum it up, I had an amazing time there, left with the best memories and would recommend volunteering at the guest house to everyone!

The guest house is great, they took me in last minute after i had a problem with a different host and they were great from start to finish. Natali the recruiter is super kind, gaby the manager is lovely and she is nice while teaching. Santos the owner is very generous besides the weekly money they give us for food he also paid for an amazing breakfast on Christmas day, gave us extra money and food for Christmas and new year's eve. The house is beautiful and cozy and the work hours are respected. My fellow volunteer were super cool and I'm leaving with good memories, thanks for everything 💜
