Weimar is a charming city, with good connections to nearby cities such as Dresden or even Bamberg.
I also had a great time not only with the volunteers but also with the staff. They both were all very kind, friendly, and helpful. 🤍 The schedule was arranged in advance, and I especially appreciated that they kept my arrival and departure days free, which gave me enough time to get settled in and prepare before leaving. It was such a wonderful experience, and I’m really grateful for the time I spent there!

The hostel is a great place to stay if you're interested in seeing lots of places in Germany - once you buy a Deutschland ticket you can get trains from the station to places like Leipzig, Dresden and other cities easily. Although Weimar is a quieter city, it's not hard to get to other places for a day out. The hostel itself is only a 15 minute walk from the station. The work at the hostel is quite easy and the hours tend to be respected. It's mostly kitchen work - washing dishes, mopping floors etc. Plus the hosts are flexible if you want to swap shifts with another worldpacker/change days.

I really enjoyed my experience at the hostel! The staff are very friendly, organized, and always willing to help. The work we did during the volunteering was calm and easy, and overall, I really enjoyed the routine. One of the things I liked the most was the opportunity to visit 6 different cities during the volunteering experience, which made it even more interesting and special. Another very positive point is that the volunteering allows us to save a lot of money on food.

It was a wonderful experience! This was our first Worldpackers experience, and it definitely made us want to do more. Everything is extremely organized, the tasks are clear and we always worked as agreed, within the scheduled hours. The hosts are very kind and helpful. The room is comfortable, and the location is great for exploring the hostel other places nearby. The food provided is also enough for more than one meal a day, which is great for saving money. We loved our two weeks here and would definitely come back!

It was my first and best worldpackers experience. Every staff is super nice including Nhung. You can get free drinks and meals. The room also nice and cozy. Work is easy and they’ll let you know whatever you need. And they send you the schedule in advance so you can make plan for the next travel! I’m really appreciate all of kindness i’ve got from them. 🥰

It was nice that the existing volunteers greeted me kindly. And I like that you let me know the schedule and tasks in advance. On days off or after work, you can spend time sightseeing in Weimar. The accommodations where World Packers stay is pleasant. I liked Weimar, which was safe and peaceful.

My experience in the hostel was really good! I got to visit many towns in the region of Thüringen being that the hostel is 15 minutes away from the station. I highly recommend getting the Deutschland-Ticket to get the best of the experience and not wasting so much in your journeys! The acommodation was good, the work hours were always respected and the work itself was light. You get free breakfast and some nights free dinners. You can make yourself lunch with the buffet so its not necesary to spend that much in food. And you get free hot drinks! The staff was always really good aswell 👌

Weimar is a very pretty and interesting historical town - the hostel is well located 10 minutes from the main station and has a welcoming and friendly team who are good to work with. The work in kitchen can be quite intense but it was also absorbing and the hours are good.

My time at the hostel was a blast! Everyone there is incredibly nice and welcoming and made it easy for me to learn the area and the work. I was able to create bonds with both the normal employees there and the other Worldpackers, who taught me about the German language and culture of the area. The work is not hard at all. It is conducted in five hour chunks five days a week. In my case some shifts had to be switched due to staffing issues, but I never once felt it was unfair or that I was overworked. I loved my time there and cannot recommend them enough!

It was my first experiente with Worldpackers and it was great. Cleaness: the Hostel is really clean. Nhung, Martin, Niels, Michael makes sure to teach everyone how to keep the cleanness standar. Work: easy tasks. If you dont know how to do something they are gonna teach you. Social environment: chill and friendly. Working hours: it depends on the demand. But if you finished your task, you have Feierabend. Room and services: you have a great breakfast included. You can take the leftovers. The room is clean, comfy, with a WC and a fridge. Location: 10' walking to the main station and centre.
