I only spent a week with the shelter team, but I learned so much in such a short time ! Everyone was incredibly kind and took the time to answer all of my questions. I was truly impressed by their dedication and patience, their passion is inspiring ! This week gave me unforgettable memories. I had the amazing opportunity to observe many dolphin species, and most exciting of all, I saw a sperm whale for the very first time !!

This experience is by far the best I've ever had. In two months, I was able to learn a lot about cetaceans as well as seabirds found in the Ligurian Sea, but what was most memorable was seeing them from the boat. I was able to see for the first time in my life many species such as bottlenose dolphins or striped dolphins but also loggerhead sea turtles, a manta ray and the most impressive a fin whale! The team was great from start to finish, always enthusiastic and passionate. I will keep very fond memories. (:
