Its been a lovely experience. They are a wonderful family and I felt comfortable and welcomed. Although some tasks are physically demanding, the work itself is straightforward. The place and sorroundings are gorgeous, but getting around can be difficult due to its isolated location and limited transportation. However the family always offered me a lift whenever they had to take the car, which i really appreciated. I would maybe recommend coming with someone, as it can get a bit lonely at times. However, if you are looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, this is the place!

I had a great time staying at the farm! Lisa and Amadeo have worked hard to create a place that is beautiful, sustainable, and welcoming to volunteers and guests. I mostly worked in the garden weeding, but also had a variety of other tasks to do. Usually I worked in the morning and had the whole afternoon free but occasionally I would help out with the kids in the evening! They have a separate room, bathroom and kitchen just for volunteers. The walk to town is about 40 minutes downhill and can be a little tiring, especially in the heat. It takes about another hour to walk down to the sea

Amedeo and Lisa are lovely people who gave me a warm welcome. If you needed anything or had a question, you could always let them know and they'd sort out any problem. The work in the garden, which always took place in the mornings, was sometimes quite strenuous as the property is situated on a slope. However, I was allowed to do something different almost every day, so the work never got boring. If you want to go to the nearest town (Vibonati) in the afternoon, it's about a 30-minute walk. All in all, I really can recommend this experience.

I spent one month at the farm and it was a really good experience. Usually I worked in the mornings, either cleaning the rooms or helping in the vegetable garden, and sometimes before dinner I looked after the children. The work was always clear and not too heavy. The house is quite far from the village, but for me it was perfect to disconnect and enjoy the quiet atmosphere. On my free days I could take the bus to go to the sea, which I really enjoyed. Lisa and Amedeo are very kind and welcoming, and I always felt comfortable with them and the children.

I really recommend to volunteer at the farm! Lisa and Amedeo are both really caring hosts. If you don't feel comfortable with something you get respected for that immediately. I have to mention that communication anytime was very clear so missunderstandings were prevented. You only should be aware that the farm is remote. If you like to walk, then go for it. Otherwise the family sometimes may take you with them by car to get to know the area. There is also a bus running twice a day.

My stay at the farm was my first volunteering experience and I enjoyed it a lot. Lisa and Amedeo are very kind hosts and respected the working hours fair. I always worked in the morning untill 2 or 3 pm. The afternoons I could use by myself. The tasks were always managable, very well explained and felt valued. In order to explore the area even better I am partly taken by the family by car, wich I really appreciate. I recommend this location to everybody who likes to be in nature and get in contact with locals. I am so thankful for all the experiences I was allowed to gain :)

Loved it here. From day 1, I felt like part of the family. The food is amazing & they're so considerate when it comes to adjusting to any dietary restrictions. For work, the tasks change daily, so it never gets boring. At times it can be quite physical, but it's doable. Hours were totally respected, I usually worked in the morning, so all afternoon was off. Because it's offseason, I slept in one of the guest rooms, truly a luxury. Got to explore a couple of seaside towns in the afternoons, because I could join them by car. I had a wonderful time staying with Amadeo and his family. I felt welcomed and respected from the first moment. I really enjoyed the tasks we did and the working hours were perfect for us. Lisa and Amadeo provided us with delicious food every day. The location was perfect for reconnecting to the nature and for going on walks or even hiking. I also really enjoyed spending time with their kind and funny children. I'm going to look back fondly on my stay with Amadeo and his family and would definitely recommend staying with them. :)

My time at the farm was truly beautiful. Amedeo and his family welcomed us with open arms and provided everything to feel comfortable. They live in a beautiful place with mountains and the sea isn't far away. The work was fun and not too exhausting, depending on the season. The food was delicious and we learned some typical Italian recipes. We also spent a lot of time with the two children, who are very sweet and funny. I definitely recommend this place and will miss my time here.

My experience was wonderful! Lisa and Amedeo are amazing people, very welcoming and they really care about your well-being. And the kids, of couse, are lovely! The work depends on the season, but is super ok, the food is delicious and the place has beautiful views. I had a lot of free time to enjoy. If you want to have an experience with a local family, living a simple life, surrounded by nature, I highly recommend them. Guys, thank you so much for these incredible days, I will never forget :)
