If you like surfing you'll enjoy getting to know Matinhos peak, with big waves it's the meeting point for surfers. Besides the beaches you can venture into the trails, put on your agenda to climb Morro do Escalvado and Morro do Boi. We are near one of Paraná's most visited tourist spots, Ilha do Mel, this island you need to know!
Schedule: 4 days of work, 8 hours per day, and 3 consecutive days off per week. Shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Shifts will be distributed on arrival according to the hostel's needs.
Where you will sleep: In a house at the hostel exclusive for volunteers; this house contains: a kitchen, a shared bedroom with 3 bunk beds, and a bathroom that must be kept clean and organized by all volunteers. Volunteers who apply for the Solo Plan sleep in the shared room. Volunteers who apply for the Couple Plan or Double may sleep in the Private Mini Cottages; if rented to guests, couples or duos go to the shared room. Breakfast: From 6:30 to 10:00 (After 10:00 the kitchen must be free for cleaning) It is available for the volunteer in the staff kitchen: A carafe of coffee, oil, salt, sugar, margarine and fruit jam to be consumed only at breakfast. Every Friday we provide an individual breakfast kit with 1 loaf of bread, 7 bananas and 7 eggs for the week. Lunch: Lunch is a vegetarian dish served from 12:00 to 13:00 by the hostel's kitchen; after lunch each volunteer must wash and store their plate and cutlery. Pool: Use of the pool is allowed from 09:00 to 23:00 except in case of exclusive private events. The Hostel Rules will be sent after the volunteer confirmation and explained on the day of arrival.
