Completing my volunteer work at the Center was a transformative experience. Since my arrival, I was very well welcomed by the entire community, which made me feel at home quickly. Living the routine of the space, sharing the tasks and learning day by day with each person in the community was enriching beyond measure. I carry with me not only new practical learnings, but also memorable memories, valuable conversations, and friendships that I intend to carry for life. I spent a month at the center and left with a heavy heart, wanting to stay! A paradise in the Mantiqueira Mountain Range, with a community full of love, spirituality, and art. I was able to contribute to the Spring Festival and to the construction of the new stage, a geodesic dome. A special affection for Soraya, a wonderful artist and a strong and gentle leader. I carry with me the affection, the exchanges, and the people who made this month special. I thank Soraya and everyone at the center for making me feel at home. A part of me stayed there. Heartfelt gratitude!

My experience at the center was simply amazing! I had the opportunity to live many experiences, learn new things, participate in different experiences, and, above all, share very special moments with other volunteers. Being at the center was amazing! It's really a place that values respect, love, freedom, a sustainable life! I have no words to measure Soraya's work and how much she contributes by facilitating the sustainment of that center! She is a wise woman who nourishes and inspires everyone who passes by there! But everyone who lives there is wonderful! I had the opportunity to arrive before the Primavera Festival and assist in the organization, and also during the event. Soraya and the boys who live at the site (Susp, Aruan, Xambranti, Gideon, Tali) are incredible hosts. This time, in addition to volunteering at the carnival event, I could leave my contribution in the bio-construction area helping with the wonderful Pachamama statue and in the agroforestry garden that is taking shape every day. the center is an excellent place for those who want to understand how a life in Community works.

I had a beautiful and intense experience during the time I spent at the center! A place of incredible beauty, freedom, environmental awareness, a lot of contact with nature, spirituality, art on all sides and in all forms. I was able to learn a bit about bioconstruction and that made me very happy. I attended the New Year festival and it was simply amazing; the experiences touched many inner things in a positive way, the food was divine and the attractions were incredibly surreal, in addition to the connections and deep conversations. Volunteering at the center has been out of this world. Everything seems to happen in a magical way! I came for the year-end festival; it was busier, I helped in the kitchen, in the cleaning and I volunteered for the media. The work was separated by team and by schedule. When something went outside the agreement, it was just to talk with Soraya and she would take care of it.
I was completely welcomed and treated with a lot of love and affection. I met wonderful people I want to carry with me for life. Unfortunately I will not be able to express in limited characters what it was like to live everything I lived here. But I will leave with a full heart!!
