The tasks are pretty simple and typical of cleaning and housekeeping roles. You just have to work quickly to keep up with the staff. The working hours are respected, and the location is perfect, right in the city center. The volunteers' room is really comfortable and well equipped. If I have the chance to return to Granada, this will definitely be my first choice.

Lukas explained everything clearly before I arrived, and everything was exactly as he had described. The working hours were fair, and while some days were busier than others, this had been communicated in advance.
I also really appreciated the team activities outside of work and all the great recommendations for the city. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay.
The only challenge for me was that my Spanish wasn’t quite strong enough for this role. I think volunteers with a higher level of Spanish would enjoy it even more.

My experience at Itenere Hostal was very good, I connected a lot with the culture and with the other people who work there. Bianca and Lucia do an excellent job at the reception and in distributing the tasks, and Sandra always tries to help with a good attitude and enthusiasm. Without a doubt they are a great team to work with; in the end I ended up extending my stay for three months. The tasks were sometimes heavy and not the right ones for a volunteer, but the excellent connection and friendship with the others made the work much more pleasant.

My volunteer experience at this hostel was very beautiful. The daily life with the girls I shared my days with was wonderful; a very lovely connection formed and a very welcoming atmosphere ✨
Bianca is a very lovely person, easy-going, kind and always willing to help, very grateful! Thanks to Lucas, who is always present at the hostel and attentive to everything!
Regarding the tasks, on some days they can be a bit heavy, but they are part of volunteering and are balanced by the overall good climate!
I take away a very positive experience and beautiful memories, thank you 🫶🏾✨

It was a beautiful experience! I was very warmly welcomed by the girls at the hostel. Bianca, Laura, and Sandra are incredible people. Both in work and in living together in the apartment there was always respect and good communication.
I felt very comfortable and I had a lot of fun.
The tasks at the hostel, it's true that there are days heavier than others. Depending on the number of guests. But there was always good organization on the part of Bianca and Laura.
Lucas and Vicky were very attentive and willing.
I 100% recommend getting to know the beautiful Granada and the whole Itinere Hostel team! Thank you, thank you, thank you

The room was fine. Old apartment but adequate. The roommates did the work and the stay was pleasant. I consider that the work was too heavy for a volunteer role, and activities typical of a job were carried out, not volunteer work. Many days the total hours were more than agreed. With Lucas I did not have direct clashes, but sometimes he created a somewhat tense atmosphere at work, and I did not like that he did not warn before moving to the apartment.
I was comfortable in the flat thanks to the roommates, but I would not repeat the volunteer work.

I do not recommend this volunteer program.
The only positive thing was meeting other volunteers and making friends.
I worked 42 hours a week, and some weeks more than 50, split between reception and cleaning, going as far as doing both tasks on the same day.
In reception I started at 9:00 and had to stay available until 20:00 for calls and check-ins, not being able to leave the building.
The private room only existed in the first days and then was shared.
The atmosphere is very tense, with constant pressure and threats of expulsion for any mistake.
An entirely disproportionate exchange.

Working at the hostel in Granada was better than I could have hoped. Lucas, Cynthia and Bianca are very dear and welcomed me very well. The work is fair for what they offer us, making the experience a true volunteering. The apartment where we live is old, in a very well-located area, has everything we need and Lucas is always improving something there. The friendships I formed with my coworkers and with those who passed through the floor are my greatest gift! It will be difficult to find another house around here with such a beautiful view and on such a good street! Gratitude ☺️
