Enjoy private room in New South Wales and help with our daughters

The experience

We are seeking an au pair to live with us (with all benefits an Au Pair needs).
We are located in Forbes, NSW, Australia.
Our family consists of our 3 year old and our 1 year old plus a newborn that is due to be born in August who will all require care. My husband works a FIFO roster and I study from home. Having our dad away we are wanting an extra pair of hands with the kids so I can still give time to study whilst the children are cared for.

Program Details

Being our au pair means:

✨ Your own private bedroom
✨shared bathroom with children
✨ All meals and snacks provided
✨ No rent or household bills
✨ Unlimited Wi-Fi and access to everything you need in the home
✨ Scheduled time off, with flexibility if you’d like to travel and explore Australia
✨ A welcoming, supportive, and laid-back family environment
✨ you’ll always be supported with the children as mum is always in the house and dad has scheduled time off. It will be very rare that you are asked to have the children on your own.

Activities & Shift

We are very flexible with the hours and times that work best for you. Our children do have established routines, and we would love for you to become involved in these and help maintain their familiar structure.

We regularly attend playgroups and other activities throughout the week, and you would be very welcome to join us and be involved in these experiences with the children.

We would ideally be looking for around 20 hours per week where you would have sole care of the children, allowing Mum time to study from home. However, we are very flexible with this arrangement, and if you ever need support or an extra hand, Mum will always be nearby and happy to assist.

Our main expectation is that you enjoy spending time with the children, keep them engaged through play and activities, and support them with their daily routines. This may include helping with meals, settling them for daytime sleeps if needed, and generally creating a fun and positive environment.

When the children are settled or resting, we would appreciate some light household help. This would include keeping the common areas tidy, helping with children’s dishes when needed, and encouraging the children to pack away their toys and help care for their spaces after play.

Rules

We would expect that you keep your room clean and tidy. We would also ask that you clean up after yourself 🙂
