Where to actually start? I honestly loved the time with Belu&Emilio so, so much! They are two beautiful human beings and are so welcoming and sweet. They created a special place here in Bocas and how they open their home for volunteers is just amazing! Especially the jewellery making I enjoyed so, so much and I would always recommend this place! <3 Two weeks were definitely too short.

The town is super cool and there is so much nature!

I had a great time and experience at the project. This was my first job and I was a little bit afraid things wouldn't go as I wanted. But the second I met Belén and Emilio, I felt welcomed. They are both really nice and you can see their passion for their project. The work was also fun and interesting. I only worked 4 hours a day, so I had plenty of time left to spend the rest of the day exploring. Bocas del Toro is a beautiful place with amazing beaches. I can recommend this experience to anyone who wants to help with Belén and Emilios project while still having time to relax on the beach ;)

This was a wonderful experience! I came here as a volunteer to try to travel with a more positive ecological impact, and definitely the project is the place for that. They work to protect nature, and are perfectly involved that way. The job is tranquil, they really make sure to vary the task regularly, and to make you enjoy this time. Humanly, Belen & Emilio are incredible, very friendly good people, and very attentive to your comfort there! Talk to them, you'll see 🙂

I recommend all who can to come volunteer here! I stayed 2 weeks and felt welcome from day 1. Belen and Emilio are incredible people who work hard in this amazing project. They carry out an organised, fun and impactful mission that was a pleasure to help with. The working and living space is perfect and has everything you need. Also, work is the first half of the day, leaving time to explore so much in the area afterwards or on your days off. I already miss it all so much!! Gracias para todo 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Emilio and Belén are wonderful people doing important work, and being a part of their world for two weeks was a really great experience :)
While the air conditioning unit didn't work, there are lots of good fans to keep the air moving, and while the evening mosquitos were aggressive, the fans and mosquito netting worked well. With free use of the bicycles you can get practically anywhere, and there is always something fun to do in your free time.
The space is comfortable, the work fun and engaging, and the hosts sweet, kind, and genuinely fun to be around. Thanks!

I absolutely loved my stay! The work they do is so inspiring and I had so much fun creating the jewelry with them! You get to know different steps of the process. This is perfect for people that like to be creative! Also the place where you stay is very comfortable, they let you use a bike so you can get around easily. Kitchen and bathroom are super nice. 10/10 would recommend!!

A huge thank you to Emilio and Belén for wonderful volunteering experience in Bocas del Toro! They are super kind, hospitable people who are committed to the sustainability projects they work on. It was a pleasure to be a part of their group for a week. The work I did was fun and impactful. The work is clearly outlined.
