TL;DR: PERFECT! The host: Enrico is very nice calm person, very kind and gentle. He is very professional and you really don't feel any pressure, which makes you feel at home! The Work: From Gardening to light constructions (LA FACCIATA! :D) and also some order at the guest house, there's a lot of work to do and it's FUN! The Place: the guest house is unique, well designed, equipped, nice quiet area around it GO THERE if you want to experience a good welcoming staying! Enrico, Ti ringrazio molto per tutto, sei veramente un amico per me. GRAZIE! Idan

La selvática was a great experience. Firstable Enrico is an amazing human who made me feel at home since the first day, he provided me all the necessary information even before arrived. We worked as a team and he really trust and was grateful everytime with all the work I was doing. If you like nature, this is a good place to connect with it, good landscapes to photograph. And is a good way to live the Italian life, I improved my Italian and my kitchen skills. I'm really grateful for this experience and I hope go back again once. Greetings Enrico & pablito.

What a wonderful experience we had! Enrico welcomed us and treated us so well, we felt at home. He is an excellent host. He is a peaceful, generous and kind person. It was always nice to spend time with him and Pablito, his son. He also cooked us delicious meals. I helped with the housework and Fernando built a pizza oven. the guest house is a calm and happy place, we loved to stay there. There are some cities near to visit and it is also a great place to ride a bike. We wish we could have stayed more time. We are very grateful for this experience and we will miss Enrico and Pablito. Grazie!

The guest house is a magical place, full of life and stories. I'm so lucky that I could spend some time there and get to know so many incredible people. Enrico is an amazing guy, really hard working, who does everything by himself to improve the place each day, and is always patient to explain everything. The main tasks are really simple, but there's always something to do around the house, and I always felt like doing more to make the place even better. Even though it's on the country side, it's only a 15 min bus ride away from Modena. The only bad thing was that I couldn't stay longer! ♥

Enrico hosted me at the guest house for a week, and in that time we became fast friends. I was able to lend a hand in return for his gracious hospitality. Mostly I worked independently of Enrico while he performed additional restorations. the guest house has plenty of thoroughfare and is a great way to meet people from all over the world. This is a veritable oasis in the desert, not to be missed if at all you should find it on your journey. I would suggest this experience to anyone wishing to spend time outside of the hectic life of the cities you will invariably visit while in Italy.

It's the home everyone wished they had. It's extremely lively with a strong sense of community. People come and go sometimes like hurricanes and you learn to tune yourself to the rhythm of the environment. I spent 4 months there. I enjoyed Enrico's company a lot, he is warm and welcoming and made just going to the Coop a fun experience. We made a good team with good working communication, and my efforts were always very appreciated which only made me want to give more. I whole-heartedly recommend volunteering at the guest house. In gratitude, Karin

As my first time using Worldpackers, I was a little nervous, but right from the first 5 minutes I knew I was going to love it and did I ever! Although there is work to be done, the tasks are easy and, at the end of the day, when you've had a beautiful dinner with lovely people (guests, family and friends), it just doesn't feel like work. Enrico is the nicest and most genuine person. His way of life is very inspiring. There is much to learn from him. I feel so blessed to have had a wonderful 3 weeks at the guest house filled with new experiences, new friends, amazing food and memories. Thank you!
