I got so sick I was unable to work almost the entire time I was here, and the people were exceptional. George(the owner) refused to take payment and said he just wanted me to get better. I was solo backpacking alone for the first time and to have such an amazing support group was extremely comforting. Amazing people, amazing place.

This was my first experience as a volunteer. The work was very easy and even a little less than what is written on Worldpacker, since it is low-season. On that note, there was only a fiew travellers in the hostel in October, so if you want to meet plenty of people I would recommend you come here during the summer, but if, like me, you want a chill and easy volunteer experience to take a time off during your travel this is the place! Also, George is a amazing person and he always made sure I feel confortable in the hostel.

I had a nice experience here! The green hostel has a rural feel, while still being close to the beach and to Varna - buses to the center are quite frequent during the day. I stayed for 2 weeks, one alone and one with another volunteer, and the workload was generally light. Most days, I finished everything in less than the required three hours, probably because September is already low season. The managers were nice and engaging, and the guests were friendly, although generally of an older age. If you want a quieter experience away from the city - this might be a good option for you!

Working at the hostel was really easy and Thomas and George made everything to feel like home. The place is really nice, and it is nearby a bus stop that can easily take you to the city centre. The job takes only one hour or so and you have plenty of time to see the city. I absolutely suggest everyone to go there, especially if it's your first volunteer experience.

This was my first volunteering experience ever, and I couldn't have chosen a better place than the hostel. From the first day I felt welcome and comfortable. I met many amazing people from different countries, improved my English, and made great memories. The work was fair, and I had enough free time to explore Varna. Special thanks to Thomas for always being helpful, patient, and making everything easier. Also thanks to George for being kind, friendly, and creating a great atmosphere. I highly recommend the hostel, especially for a first volunteering experience.
