My first experience in Brazil! The hostel Flores is a very quiet place, the facilities are super spacious and comfortable. Unlike other hostels in which one cannot find space to enjoy oneself while not working.. You're one block from the beach and you can hear the sound of the sea to sleep. Alejandro is super friendly and very concrete when explaining the tasks to be carried out, I think the exchange is fair. He is not one of those people who instantly gain your trust; don't take it personally! I recommend this volunteering!

Alejando always fulfilled what was agreed, both in tasks and in the schedules and days of work. The volunteers greeted me wonderfully. From the first day I felt very supported, like at home. Being my first volunteering experience, it was one of the best. The place is very peaceful and the beach is a beauty, with turquoise water and white sand. I am completely grateful to have started here! Thank you and I hope to return someday 🙏

The the hostel & Suítes is amazing for those who love the beach and tranquility. A welcoming, calm environment, perfect for meeting people from different countries. Alejandro fulfilled everything that was agreed. Highly recommended! 🌊✨

Volunteering with Lipes was a sensational and unforgettable experience. Alejandro is very calm and flexible with schedules, which makes all the difference.
Carol and Perla are amazing people, they keep the environment light, welcoming and full of good energy, and the volunteer team is united and wonderful.
The tasks are simple and calm, always done in a pleasant atmosphere.
Unfortunately I had to leave earlier for personal reasons, but my heart stayed there and I would definitely go back.
I wholeheartedly recommend this volunteering with eyes closed ❤️

Clear tasks and schedules that are respected. The friendly host, a comfortable hostel, and just steps from Foguete Beach, absolutely beautiful. 20 minutes from Cabo Frio and 10 from Arraial. The best beaches in Brazil are right around here, don't miss them.

This experience gave me the chance to experience life by the sea. Waking up and going to bed every day with the sound of the sea, walking on the beach, swimming with turtles, playing in the waves is priceless! Alejandro is clear about the tasks he needs you to do. My suggestions and contributions to improve the way of working and the place were always well received. I loved the experience!!

I left early because it was uncomfortable for me and it's not what I'm looking for in a travel experience; the tasks aren't organized, there's no communication or coordination, “everyone's task, nobody's responsibility”; there's no host available to coordinate the place and the volunteers. It didn't work for me. The good thing is its proximity to the beach.

In the first week I woke up early and helped the elderly volunteer from Argentina as well as the hosts to set up our breakfast buffet show with coffee, milk, yogurts, two different cakes, two to three fruits as they are people extremely connected with nature, bread, granola, butter and juices, at times we had the display of the host's skills with homemade dough focaccia. Maintenance of the pantry and items used by the guests. In the second week, I went to help with check-ins and check-outs with maintenance. Reception. In the third week, I did some mindfulness after doing two-thirds of the tours with gastronomy and shopping.

My experience as a volunteer was not good. The tasks assigned were paid work in a restaurant, different from what was published. There was disorganization, mistreatment towards volunteers and guests, unequal treatment between men and women and an uncomfortable situation when the host entered the room without warning. The facilities were deficient and, due to the fatigue and these situations, several of us volunteers left early and were kicked out. On the positive side, I highlight the proximity to the sea and the good group that formed among the volunteers.
