I'm so grateful to Paula for welcoming me to her guesthouse. The activities are light and the schedules are flexible. Lençóis is a wonderful city; you have to be there to truly understand its vibe.

I got in touch with the bahian culture and food. The tasks I was asked to do were very diverse, from cooking, cleaning to gardening. The location of the pousada is directly at the muritiba entrance and 5 min from the city center. I am thankful for this experience that I had. However I would recommend to speak at least intermediate portuguese to be able to communicate better. Obrigada a Paula pela paciencia. :-)

A guest house is simply amazing! A welcoming, well-kept place that wins you over in every detail. The breakfast is magnificent, those that make the start of the day even more special, and the inn's facilities are really top! Paula is very attentive, has a good energy and is always willing to help with whatever is needed, making us feel at home. It was a very good experience, in a place that brings together leisure, care and hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is eager to live this experience!

My stay at Jardin Lençois was a different experience; Paula is an adorable person, she treats you with familial warmth. I was unwell, due to a dental problem, and she always offered me help and support. What I will miss most about Lençois will be Paula; she is really good people, it's not just volunteering, it's family and love. Without a doubt, I recommend this experience. The schedules and tasks are as agreed, and the breakfast is spectacular; Paula makes the best cakes. I extended my stay and would stay longer if I didn't have to continue traveling. Infinitely grateful to this family.

I spent a month in this big house with a large garden, surrounded by nature, birds, calm and tranquility. Paula is a very kind woman who makes us feel at home. The included breakfast is always very well stocked. The working hours have always been respected. The tasks to be done may fluctuate and depend a little on the needs of the moment. I recommend the experience!

My experience at the Lençóis house was excellent from the first day. Paula, the host of the inn, greeted me with a lot of hospitality and the schedules and tasks agreed upon were always fulfilled. With the other volunteers there was always a very good vibe as well. I would definitely return to the inn!

The inn is a very pleasant place, full of greenery, birds and flowers that put you in a good mood when you wake up (even more with the breakfast offered to volunteers, which is the same as for guests). The location is great, close to downtown and Muritiba Park, despite there being a hill. Since the inn is large, there is a lot of work to be done. So most days you really work five hours with few breaks. The shift is fixed throughout the volunteer period, which can be a downside because you depend on others' days off to have flexibility in your schedule. The sheets are amazing! I highly recommend :)

An excellent volunteering experience! Paula welcomes us as if we were her own children; everything is always discussed and defined in a way that works for everyone. The tasks and schedules are divided on a rotating basis. The work lasts exactly five hours per day, with two days off per week, and basically consists of cleaning the guesthouse and the rooms, keeping everything organized and clean, and assisting in the preparation and organization of breakfast before, during, and after. Everyone can eat breakfast freely together with the guests; we are very well cared for and welcomed. I liked it so much that I will stay one more month than planned.
